A few of us in the states will be organizing a supporters club for those who support the Fulham Football Club from 'across the pond'. Slowly but surely I hope to complete a website in the next few months. (I already asked for some peoples email addresses/contact info in the spring but we've had a busy summer thus I'm starting to ask around again. We are looking for suggestions for content and also for the overall look of the site. We started discussing this subject in the thread titled "Fulham vs Man City - The Season Opener" so please take a look at that to note what we spoke about already. If interested please reply to this post and just say hi! We currently cover all regions of the states: NY/NJ- Me Chicago- therealronaldo7 Lee S - California ElMenuco - California Johhny Cash - Virginia Kaiser Kraut - Indianapolis Ian51 - London And I know we have plenty others but they simply read the forum and don't post...well post now! Many thanks to those who said they would lend a hand!
As mentioned many times, I am in. I am thinking of some ideas for the site and such. I will help in any way possible.
i'm new here but i would love to help. it would be great to make it a truly american fulham experience. if there's one thing i can't stand about the offical ffc mb is the total lack of respect the english have for american soccer fans (as well as players).
Me too.... as I said on the other thread (before reading this one) I can help with some Photoshop work to help spruce up the site. As for content, I'd like to see some of these things incorporated: - FFC schedule for the season (w/ home & away listing) - FFC TV listings - EPL Table w/ FFC highlighted so we can easily pick it out... try to have columns for team, gp, w, l, d, pts, gf, ga, and gd. Or maybe just team, w, l, d, pts if the other is too big - FFC Player stats... just for fun - Members Area. Include a big map of the US and add dots for locations of members across the country. - Have a section listing pubs/resturuants/etc that show EPL games... people can email the webmaster to add to the listing. Have it include name & address... maybe phone too? - Links to FFC sites, BS forums, and USSoccerUK forums (as they talk bout EPL as well as MLS, especially w/ 2 Americans at Fulham). - Travel tips to going to the Cottage w/ maps, pictures, etc. - Can we set up some kind of FFC trivia game? - Rumor mill & News section... just headlines nothing indepth, but something that can be glanced at quickly to recognize any changes at the club. Those are just some initial ideas.
Some of my ideas are some of the same as Kraiser's, but here they are anyways: *Upcoming Games - Dates and times (In Eastern Time Zone) of next three games. *Recent Results - Give the Dates and scores of the Last Three Games. *Schedule - Have a link to click on for the season schedule *Have an EPL Table with Fulham highlighted. *Fulham on TV - Area that would show Fulham's next game on FSW or PPV here in the States. *Fulham News section - Updated daily and includes, game results, rumours, etc. *Links to the Official Fulham website, the EPL, Ebay for cheap Fulham jerseys. *History Section - a brief history of the club and results and highlights from the past. *Photos Section - place where fans and can upload pictures or post pictures to the site regarding Fulham or fans wearing Fulham gear. *Chants Section - Perhaps a section with the words to the many chants heard at Craven Cottage. I also like the idea of a map that shows where members live. I am not sure how many of these things can actually get done or how hard it would be to do some of this, but just thought I would throw those out there.
Mike you misspelled my username. It's actually ElMuneco which means "The little doll" in Spanish. It's the nickname of Marcelo Gallardo of River Plate. One of my favorite players of all time. Gosh what a weekend it is for me. Not only do I get to watch on Saturday, though delayed, but I get to watch River Plate live on Sunday. The beginning of the Premiership and the Apertura. It doesn't get any better than this. Baseball? No thanks!!
Hi, guys. I'm a longtime Everton fan, but have started cheering for Fulham as my "second" team in the EPL. I was wondering if any of you are members of Fulham USA, and what type of activities the supporters club is involved in. Thanks, Rod
Don't beat yourself up...Google is not it's friend. Even using the search terms "Fulham USA" I can't find this site directly cited in the first 5 search pages. Someone needs some help at fulhamusa.com with SEO. That's not a criticism, but a recommendation. American Fulham supporters need to get behind this site, it looks like the creator has put a lot of work into it.
Because you ignored me? Or everything I posted about it? Bet you remember the 'Interview with Wynalda' That was us. It used to be listed and we used to have bots and spammers crawling all over it. I'm the secondary admin and forum mod. MAYBE because we shut off Google ads? Who knows 'AmericanMike' is the site/code admin If you want to register on FUSA, the directions are on left sidebar.. and it's done by email request to Mike. Check our front page for the bars with at least one Fulham fan watching the Europa final
