the argument could be made for a number of groups to be considered the GoD, even Chile's for instance.

only spain and chile our of group H are formidable, switz. can cause some problems but not major upsets(i cant predict the future, based on current performance)
honduras is not even in chile's league

group G has three good teams and korea.....
the rest of the groups seem pretty well balanced except for two
group A who like steel sed any team can win(S.A is not favorite)
Group B probably has the collection of teams dont are not playing well atm
argentina barely made it, greece is pure defense, Nigeria is not on par with camerron, ivory coast ,or ghana, korea........is self evident

Watched Real Madrid game and man they have some crazy individual talent. Lassana Diarra can pretty much play any position besides ST/CB. Great all around player. ************ Ronaldo is disgustingly good.

Also watched Bayern take out Juve (not take out..I mean clearly play them out of the ********in park) with a sweet 4-1 victory. Nothing better than seeing the crooks out. Good shit. Great job by Bayern and coach by sticking with a set starting 11 and players for bringing their intensity and determination

    JUVE LOST 3-1 TO BARI!
    :)
edit:and madrid won 3-2 vs valencia in a exciting/good game

bari gets my vote for most improved team, seriously no one believed they would be this high in the table

Some media outlets were speculating with Ferrara's exit in case Juve lost to Bari. Will this be the end for the former Italy CB? I thought the derby win vs. us last week would suffice for a while.

bari atm is 5th with other teams yet to play

btw man u lost to villa 1-0, chelsea drew 3-3 wth everton

Yea its pretty nice, I watched it till it was 2:1 for Bari then tuned in for Real game. Juventus looks so unorganized and poor so this was my main reason why I was so unhappy with our performance against them. I really thought we would crush them because they are so week.

Real game was great, I like Valencia the most out of spanish clubs and I thought it was very entertaining game. After that game I was even more convinced that we shod buy Ever Banega, hes a class on his own and run almost everything Valencia had to offer in the midfield. By far there best player in the match.

I don't think it will happen any time soon, they will change him only if they fall to the 10 place and start risking there CL spot. They are making preperations for Lippi to take over when he finishes with Italy and Ferrara is just a cheap transition coach. Even if they sack him other than Mancini they dont have any real and good alternatives so I think he will stay here to the end of the season.

the only problem with banega is that he kinda shines when he wants to......what i mean is in that game, more so in the 1st half, he wasnt in the right position to receive passes, his passes wherent sharp, and he was for the most part invisible, however he did turn it up in the second half
but did u notice that when ever wasnt involved or playing well valencia as well was not keeping possecion or linking passes
he has talent and can really impose himself in games(when he wants to or is allowed to)

as for juve......if they get a new coach and get their shit together like milan did then they can give us a run, however milan did lose today vs palermo and this happened http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/ital...esident-silvio-berlusconi-punched-in-the-face

Your right but in proper team he can be even better, Valencia is average team at most with 3 class individuals in Villa, Silva and Banega. Mata has talent but he is not a match winner and he definitely cant make a big impact on a mtch to turn it around. The rest are pretty poor. He would fit perfectly with Sneijder in the middle.

Real has become a very solid team and they keep improving, they stand pretty good tactically on the field so hes game gets a even bigger applause from me. I watched several Valencia games this season and your absolutely right that Ever is the boss there and if he does not rise they don't play but so far he was excellent all campaign.

I predict he will be snatched pretty fast from there, they will be lucky if they can keep him for 1 more year.

Juve cant sort there shit out, they think they have quality players but they don't the only player that I would take from there team would be Chiellini. They need to wait for next summer and see what they can do on the market.

Milan still sucks and they largely depend on Dinho to turn in a performance witch he recently did do but it wont last forever and he certainly wont help them when they clash with a big team.

i cant remember if he is an argentine or another nationality....
i doubt his spanish, valencia wont let him go for cheap though
we gots the money to pay for him
agreed on milan, their still missing something since Kaka left
but even with their players they can still make a good run

bibonzo, Pablo H has stepped up his game as well, thought he should get a mention.

So Pepe out for six months...and Real might buy..I wonder who???

I think Benitez would probably be a better fit in Juventus with his style of play.

no one, we already have albiol, garay, and arbeloa who can play that position, metzelder as well but his more likely to get sold back to dortmund or another german club
    Rafa benitez? which benitez?
i hardly know anything about liverpool, so i cant comment on their style
besides their use of long range passes, and long ground passes

Pablo did rise his game but he ain't instrumental.

Benitez wont leave because they don't have the money to afford it and I still think Juve will go for Lippi if Ferrara does not get them relegated witch I doubt.

Well this probably means Villa is off to Man. U or Barca. Maybe even in January if not then definitely in summer.

bibonzo, you are probably right about Benitez/Lippi situation. I

    Samora,

The face looks funny and the price was good for the jersey. Btw I am totally shocked Valencia pulled off the purchase of Dominguez. He should be good for them.

I think you guys will go after a CB because lord knows Drenthe and Marcelo cant play LB.

I agree with bibo on the dominguez/valencia transfer
his most likely the replacement for villa,
and the situation with pepe is actually more severe than at first
his out for the whole season
so u pretty much called it, we might have to buy someone
sergio ramos doesnt want to play that position
and drenthe and marcelo cant even play LWB, thats y marcelo is playing in the midfield

People are panicking but they still have one of the most underrated center backs for me in Garay. He was really good at Racing Santander for two seasons.

I believe Ramos, Garay, Albiol, and Arbeloa can handle the injury of Pepe if Xabi, Diarra, and Kaka can control the midfield.

I was really surprised that Garay was not given more playing time this season until the Valencia game, because I considered him one of the best upcoming defenders in world football.

Hopefully he will prove me right, and Madrid doesn't panic and buy Chiellini as a back up. :D

I honestly don't get it... it seems like if just something is not right at Madrid they make such drama out of it. I mean it is a problem, but let's see where Garay can lead them to in the next month.

If anything I would look for a good left back, as for me Arbeloa is not the one, and we know as you point out that Marcelo can't play there.

I must say however, I am slightly disappointed at the development of Drenthe. I really liked him at the Euro U21 when he was noticed by everyone. He has shown flashes of brilliance but still not consistent enough.

marakana I'm pretty sure Garay will be starting but with pepe gone and metzelder likely to be sold they need another CB so Ramos doesn't get moved over to that position. Plus Arbeloa is the only cover for Ramos and he is starting @ LB now.

I wouldn't sell Metzelder. He brings loads of experience and composure. While maybe past his best, he is still a good player to have on the bench.

And he can still start versus smaller clubs, such as Malaga. I doubt however that he wants to stay on the bench, which I get an inclination you are saying.

What do you think of Bayern getting him? Demichelis and Van Buyten are decent, but surely Metzelder would add some German steel to that defense.

I have heard many fans criticize both of your central defender in the past year, beside the great result against Juventus. It was Demichelis' mistake which led to the Trezeguet goal. Well that, and Bastian's lack of realizing where the forward was.

Surely against a better opponent your central defenders would be a bit exposed. However I do like Bayern's full backs.. Badstuber and Lahm.

But then again you do have Braafheid and Breno as cover.

Also.. funny story... I got Thomas Muller last season on my Football Manager game on loan for PSG. He was doing fairly well coming on as a sub and playing in cup games. I thought to myself this kid might be good.. I wonder how he is in real life.

And 3 months later I see him starting for Bayern. Talk about coincidences.
