I was watching soccer this past weekend and saw PSV Eindhoven play, the above jersey reminded me a bit of their away jersey:

Ah come on, you know you want to hear the coach's press conference or player interview after a United win:
Well, it was a good day for the Volkwagon, Campbell's Soup, Sierra Mist, Mastercard team, we just had to get settled in, then the quality of our guys took over and we were able to use our Adidas cleats to get the better footing when the rains came. I'd also like to thank Panasonic, Verizon, and Budweiser for this great new stadium

    :)

I think I speak for us all when I say as long as it is in DC I would gladly have the team at PVB Field at Ben's Chili Bowl!

I can not let this go unnoticed. a) they're hoops, not "horizontal stripes" and b) hoops adorn some of the best football shirts in the world.

I'd be happy if Chelsea never wore this again...

you can fool yourself by calling them "hoops" all you want, but they are indeed simply horizontal stripes (often only horizontal half-stripes). And they are indeed butt-********ing hideous.

They may be fine for soccer players, if you aren't too picky, but they look even more hideous on soccer fans.

I actually like that one better than their other two. Dark blue and that lime green look good, IMO.

All three losses this season have been suffered in that shirt, ergo it sucks.

I liked it after they beat Milan in Baltimore, but since then they have not performed well in it.

Full disclosure, as a Chelsea foe and not always keen on adidas designs... I actually think it's pretty nice. But by all means feel free to continue losing in it!

Indeed. One of the highlights of my weekend was watching Chelski lose-- it was too bad it had to be to Chelski Lite, aka, Dubai City, I mean, Manchester, I mean, Man City, but hey, anytime they lose is a good time.

    :p

Second only to seeing them lose, is listening to their fans when they lose.

    :p
This thing needs a smiley with horns.
