Well, it's tomorrow so no one seems to be around here - probably gone fishing. Cagliari is a very decent team this year and we will need to continue our good form if we are to make up more points to catch Juve and Inter. I hope that everyone is healthy after international break, not sure if anyone is suspended. I see 3-1 win.

    FORZA MILAN!!!

nesta unfortunately is suspended, due to his yellow card thanks to the ref giving zarate a nice counter...:D

probable formation is the usual with kaladze in for nesta

good news is di gennaro started making his come back with the primavera to try to get back into match shape. we need a few of these injured players to start getting back soon to add some depth.

as for cagliari, very surprising in some ways, but then again on their roster they have some solid players esepcially at the back, which is one of the reasons that they have a pretty good defensive record so far. marchetti, canini and one of the surprises of the season so far, milan product davide astori have really helped cagliari be pretty tight at the back particularly in the last few matches. agostini is the veteran back there and biondini's form earned a friendly call-up. dessena is looking to have been a solid pick-up as well.

conti, matri, jeda et al are ok as far as attacks go, but if we had our normal starting defense i wouldn't be too worried at all, of course without nesta and with the form they are on, you never know, could easily pop one or two past us.

    forza milan

So is Storari and Abbiati read yet or not?! I was hearing that Abbiati was going to make his come back early October or so, and its now late November and still nothing.

Also, our strikers not named Pato really need to step things up. When a central defender has as many goals as you do at the end of November, its embarrassing.

Don't be surprised, Dunga has some aversion to him.

I think the problem with Brazil call-ups is that you could be having a great vein of form, but there could be half a dozen other players also worthy of call up at the same time. Also, since Dunga has set up system that seems to be working quite well for them without players like Pato and Dinho that he really has no reason and is almost afraid of messing with it.

i see it as a good thing that pato didn't get called up for the brazil NT, i mean he needs his rest and he's not gonna get it this season. this team needs pato playing the whole time, so the only time he's gonna get rest is suspensions, international breaks, and i hope not but injuries. and ronaldinho needs to stay focused, going to brazil could be terrible for him, he would be so tempted to party

    Formazioni ufficiali

Milan: Dida; Oddo, Thiago Silva, Kaladze, Zambrotta; Pirlo, Ambrosini; Pato, Seedorf, Ronaldinho; Borriello

Cagliari: Marchetti; Canini, Lopez, Astori, Agostini; Dessena, Conti, Biondini; Lazzari; Jeda, Matri

    -------------------------------------

remember flamini picked up a slight knock in training, so he wasn't called up. As for the keepers, they are fit, but dida has been in nice form, so until or unless he drops his form or gets hurt, he will be the hot hand that leo stays with.

Gattuso must not quite be fully fit, as he wasn't called up. Of course, given leo's philosophies, for now it looks like gattuso is kind of the odd man out. just doesn't have the technical abilities that leo is favoring, but as the season goes on, he will get a chance to play a part no doubt.

good work seedorf...great job though by borriello. what a diagonal run and then the strength to hold off the defenders and then the presence of mind to play the ball back across for seedorf. well done, sir

bah, that was disastrous defense. should have probably been a pen and then a wide open matri from 5 yards. really poor at the back

    1-1

Amazing pass and goal by Seedorf! I haven't seen him look that impressive in ages.
But what a defensive failure by Kaladze, UGH!

    Wake up, Milan.

cagliari is pressing higher and wider than most opponents, which is why the center has so much space. that is why seedorf seems to be so open on most possessions. need to play through the center, and make those diagonal runs off the players until cagliari starts to adjust.

kaladze is getting abused at the back right now. just looks a step slow on matri every time

man, how disorganized at the back are we without nesta? they could easily have 3-4 goals already.

    1-2 cagliari...:(
