We're less than a week and a half away from the Regular Season to tip-off. Most people I know don't really give a crap about the first three months in the NBA, but I enjoy all 82 games. Go Magic!!!
It'll be interesting to see what happens. I think only the Spurs truly improved their roster. The Blazers and Thunder should benefit from another year of experience.
Mavs offense looked really anemic at times The Wizards looked really good And I didn't see the game, but the result in Cleveland just further confirms my belief that the Cavs aren't going anywhere this year if the Celtics and Magic stay healthy.
Towards the end of the 3rd, Spurs up 21 on Hornets in a laugher. And the second I write this Tony Parker goes down hard and looks hurt....
DeJuan Blair has 14 pts and 11 boards in his regular season debut and the Spurs dominate a Hornets team that looks determined to get Byron Scott fired before the all-star break. Blair looked great in his 22 minutes. Granted, this was never a game, but if he can continue to log decent minutes he can be a key part of this squad.
Came to say too that Blair is really interesting. This Spurs team could be a serious contender if they can stay healthy.
watch out for Okla City this year. not saying they'll win it all but Durant and Westbrook will be all stars this year and will have that team contending for a playoff spot. I really think Durant will make that leap this year and put up better all around numbers. He really is a stud player along with westbrook. I'm liking this team more and more.
going to be better this year. I watched some of the game vs the Kings and to me it looks like his all around game got better. He was a 25points and 6rebs a game guy last year and this year I believe he'll be a double double guy, 25 & 10. And throw in the fact that Jeff Green looks like the "real deal" and if Westbrook continues to get better then this team can be a solid contender with Durant leading the way.
Yeah the Thunder have massive potential. Westbrook will be a top 5 PG very soon. Once he gets that shooting touch down watch out. Green can also be a major force. He's the type of player that could score 20+ every night in his sleep. Looks like he's improved his shooting beyond the arc as well.
I see that finally someone has been reading my posts and agree with me. The only thing that makes sense for LeChoke is to go to LAL and learn the ropes from the master. http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/smith_091102.html I'd like to hear one good reason why this should not happen. Other then "Because Kobe will rape him" or shit at that level.
$$$$$$$$. How are they going to pay both players? Kobe gets about $23mil a year and Lebron will be looking for atleast $25mil a year. Add to that Gasol's $17mil, Bynum's $13mil and they may have a problem signing him. Not to sure how the cap works in the NBA but I'm pretty sure in order for them to get Lebron they would need to get rid of some players and clear some cap.
