Forgive me, but I fail to see your point as to a lack of credibility in my post. Why? Perhaps because I called out one of the worst posters in that forum and one that routinely violates the terms of service. The Mexico forum mods routinely bin many posts that were not in any shape of form trolling. The double standard that exists in these forums is very real and troubling. It would be refreshing to be able to post critical comments about specific incidents in matches without everyone overreacting and a mass of posts requiring strict moderation. I agree this also happens in other forums, but the double standard that exists presently in the Mexico forums did not exist there a number of years ago. There was a lot more give and take and friendly needling. Just ask Various Styles. This does not exist any longer.

Let me give you a list of topics that would immediately create a tremendous overreaction in that forum.

    1. El Vasco Aguire being dismissed from the technical area for kicking a Panamanian player off the field of play during the Gold Cup. Now the bizzarre thing is that many posters at the time felt Aguirre did nothing wrong. That is a major disconnect with the reality of what happened. Aguirre several days later offer a sincere apology about losing his head and setting a poor example for his team. I have a lot of respect for El Vasco following his remarks.

    2. The conduct of Mexican fans in Mexico in the qualifier against El Salvador throwing bottles at the opponents during their corner kicks. Actions that required riot police with shields to protect the opposing players.

These two topics which are critical, but one hundred percent accurate would not be met favorably. These are issues that affect football. Aguirre is not the first coach to strike an opponent. Violence is becoming more widespread at matches. We need to be able to discuss these topics openly. I should also be able to write something positive about Mexico's performance without having a poster negative rep me for it. I am afterall a fellow latino.

thank you TTM, when I read his post I was about to post this, such a terrible troll this guy is, trying to get a rise out of me by quoting me, then attempt to lie here and pretend he didnt troll since his trolling posts were deleted.

these type of mods like alberto are what makes these mods more suspect about their true intentions.

this alberto guy is the true definition of a piece of shit by trying to pull this disingenuous BS.

FWIW we tend to be very careful with this topic even in the USA forum. It ends up being a very stereotypical topic with no real conversation, but simply two sides calling each other classless jerks.

[IMG] Disparity in judging... 25 Oct 2009 05:36 PM Perndog2006 diaf idiot, you clearly trolled the Mexico forum and this is pathetic you trying to play off your trolling

That was the latest negative rep from perndog just posted. This is typical of the type of nonsense this poster does. He knee jerk reacts to things and the sad thing is that no one does nothing because he is apparently a favored son of the forum.

Tell me is this not a terms of service violation.

I'm going to provide links to what I received negative rep from this poster for.

the only scumbags that I have met in my life are the ones trying to play something their not.

keep trying to fit yourself in that role.

dont even know why you even try to pretend, your whole charade can be easily be knocked down by the Mexico mods by them showing your trolling posts.

I'm sorry the fact of the matter is every post that is binned in the Mexico forum is a trolling post. Just because you rember the good old days when USMNT fans could go into the Mexico forum and troll to their hearts content like after the 2002 world cup game. Doesn't change that fact.

Since you are a fellow Latino would should allow you to troll?

No I am referring to the days even before 2002 when there was a lot more bantering and the ribbing was good natured and no one got bent out of shape over it.

Of course not and I have not trolled on your forums.

im not calling you a racist.

im calling you a troll, and a hypocrite liar.

I dont care if you are related to a Mexican, your actions in this tread make you a hypocrite and a liar. if you were Mexican, and you posted what you posted today, you would be a Mexican hypocrite and a liar.

You knee jerk reacted pernrito. Go head have Sid or TTM check the bin and find a Mexico forum post that was a TOS violation. You will not find one. What is BSMX? The Mexico forums?

See that is the thing you would be wrong. Many of the Mexican posters didn't care for it and didn't like the fact that the mods at the time didn't do anything about it.

There is a hypersensitivity in the Mexico forum that is stifling to the exchange of ideas. I agree there are a lot of idiot posters, but they reduce the level of the discussion so that there is never any contrary opinion. It's immediately squashed.

The way mods in the Crew forum take care of racist posts is astounding.

I don't see that all seeing as how the Mexico forum has grown to be one of the biggest forums on all of bigsoccer.

Sometimes when you are involved in moderation or work you can have issues discerning things due to your direct involvement. You lose objectivity. I personally have a general problem with the discourse on BigSoccer inevitably sinking to the most base levels. I don't have issues with posters taking contrary, even highly unpopular positions as long as it's presented without prejudice, I think it sad that we cannot have an open discourse where we can exchange ideas openly and argue the points without the typical erosion to name calling and stupidity.

there is a hypersensitivity in this forum on your behalf of who is regarded a troll by me. I think if I see a post by you, in the Mexico forum, and I deem you a troll, I should be able to neg rep you and call you a troll.

and if you deny your trolling, lie about your posts getting binned, then im gonna call you a hypocrite and a liar.

    dont be so sensitive

and acknowledge my opinion but dont agree with it.

but dont bitch about hypersensitivity when you are also displaying it
