I don't think this should even be a discussion. Cuauhtemoc Blanco is, hands down, the best player of the hex.
MVP of the hex is Donovan....not even close, he was practically a part of ever goal the US scored and single handedly took over games to get results for the US.
magallon????? ur kiddin' rite. & y would u leave costly out ..second top scorer in this hex. i don't remember hearing that much 'bout bryan ruiz this whole hex ..more from celso borges.
Magallon is just a personal choice. You can easily insert Figueroa, Chavez, Bocanegra, Osorio or whomever you'd like. Honduras was the top scoring team in the Hex. Most of those goals came at home. Ruiz was a bit inconsistent but he's one hell of a player and had some stellar games. Costly can easily replace him in that lineup. Let's see your top XI.

what you mean you dont have someone doin it for you, I think what your trying to say is that he isnt really your top squad list, but you like Magallon becasue he is a Mexican.
No, what I mean is that Magallon replaced Rafa Marquez and was Mexico's best defender for most of the Hex. Personally I think he was better than Bocanegra and Demeritt. Maybe we can see what your top XI looks like before you start disecting what I said.

MVP is Pavon simply because mvp means that you were the most valuable to the team and if you take that specific player out you arent were you are in the standings. Take out what Pavon has done and Honduras is in 4th or 5th. Other mvp considerations are : Blanco and Donovan.
You can say that about Centeno, Blanco, Donovan too. If ES and TnT had a guy like that thing would be a little different for them. Either way, since this isn't a tournament is hard to give out awards other than Golden Boot, etc. I give Donovan the edge because the US finish first and he was the our best player, plus I think he started in all 10 Hex games.
