Ooooh. Asia and Europe critiquing higher education. Ya gotta love it.

There are MBA programs that are poor quality, but on a personal, anecdotal level, an MBA from a top program is worth a lot of money.

Men and women that I know were successful b4 going to a top program, and now are wildly successful.

I don't know if you're going to get much of a response, especially w/ such a vague opening post about a professional field such as business.

Just about every school in the US has an MBA program, and as a result, there are a lot of McMBA's out there. An MBA from Harvard or Chicago or NYU is a lot different than an MBA from Ball State.

Might want to ask the folks who conduct business and hire MBAs. I don't know anyone on this board who teaches in an MBA program, and since the OP is more or less a canard without anything to back it up, I'll close this now.
