I thought Old Trafford was a SSS? How come I'm seeing rugby lines on the field? (at least I think it's rugby.) Damn shame they can't get that under control.
The Super League Grand Final is played in Old Trafford every year. Its the championship of the top club rugby... basically the Super Bowl. It is played in Old Trafford because Old Trafford kicks ass!
Not quite....Biggest Rugby League game, but the Guinness Premiership is much bigger than the Super League.
Color me surprised it's not at Wembley. After all the crap we get about football lines, it made me laugh to see random marks at one of the sacred temples.
not according the wiki, which is never wrong. The first sentence: Super League is the top-level professional rugby league club competition of Europe. But we're both right, since there is rugby league and rugby union and Guinness Premiership is rugby union.
Yep....kind of OT, but I really prefer Rugby League to Union....it's a more Americanized version of the game with the limited amount of tackles and stuff.
Did you see the fading soccer lines in the OU-Texas game at the Cotton Bowl???? That is so bush league!!!!!
Union sucks at club level but is awesomesauce at international level, while the opposite is true for League.
I've seen very little rugby, but do remember greatly liking rugby sevens when I saw that form. I'd also like to see some 7-a-side soccer outdoors... take some influence from futsal and indoor soccer, but keep it close to the normal 11-player outdoor game.
