I know that there is another thread for this but since I can only put 3 photos on each message I thought that I would start a new thread. If the moderators want to merge it with the existing thread I will understand.
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos Here is the last three for this week. There are a few more on the Son's of Ben Flickr Page.
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos 1. Go to the Flickr page. 2. Click on the photo you want to see. 3. Click on "all sizes". 4. Click on "original". Voila...2144 x 1424.
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos One question...there's a brick walkway you can see in some of these shots down by the river between the stadium and the bridge. Is that something they've just put in, or was that there to start with?
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos The River Walk and the park next door were added in 2007
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos Nice photos. Is there a ramp being constructed for access to the stadium? It looks that way in some of the photos. I read somewhere that you will only be playing a few home games at the Linc. Do they know how many yet? In any case, good stuff and I look forward to a warm welcome when we play you guys next year!
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos The ramps will provide direct access to/from the Commodore Barry Bridge (Route 322).
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos Nice. Yeah, that is one of the things still lacking at our new stadium, a direct ramp from Route 280. Part of the long-range plan, I think.
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos I think the ramps are for I-95. I think the ramp on the north side of the bridge is an on ramp that will allow you to go to either I-95 north or south then to 322 west. The ramp on the South side of the bridge is the exit ramp from I-95 north and south. Am I being too anal here?
Re: Union/Chester Stadium/Field Construction Photos The ramps are literally for 322. 322 connects to 95 a half mile up.
