That area on our left attacking flank is killing crosses. I've always wanted to play on an MLS caliber field. Turns out I have.
Exactly. If the Crew can keep from drowning on the wings and put a good cross in, or send a shot up the middle, we should be able to mount a decent comeback.
I'm going to catch flak for this, but Moffat has been crap this week and last. His touch just hasn't been there.
Uninspiring. Played well early and had the better of it, but aside from one really dangerous cross from Rogers, didn't create any real opportunities. After the goal, Robbie had the shot well saved by Cronin, and Gaven's weak header, but that's been about it. If we lose this game, we need help to win the Shield.
No, I agree. The CM pair hasn't created much. And this is the problem with this double minded CM pairing RW has favored, no offense. I say we see Oughton in the second half, or a 3-5-2 with Guille pushing back to CAM.
Guillermo's working like a mad man out there. The rest has been good for him. We'd better score in this half. This lack of finishing by the offense is starting to worry me. I think I speak for all of us when I say that I want to see more penetration.
We were the better team, but don't have anything to show for it. Hopefully this doesn't end up like the Seattle game. God I hate DCU and their mud bowl we're playing on tonight.
I thought we looked pretty good with Gaven in there when we were forced into it early in the year. And Ekpo has had some second half cameos that looked pretty good, like the second half of the Cruz Azul game (3-5-2).
