This evening, three teams featuring YAs kick off at the same time in Mexico. Indios (Vidal) play host to Atlante, while both Pachuca (Torres) and Tigres (Castillo) travel (to Morelia and Toluca, respectively). Castillo may have picked up an injury, so I'm not sure if he will be playing this evening. These three games kick off at 8PM EDT. Later in the evening, San Luis (Orozco) host Pumas. Game looks like it is set to kick at 9:45 EDT. In addition to links posted below, there are usually plenty of streams available on Justin for Mexican league games. Thanks for the links, but IINM, there were bots looking for links during WC qualifying, and successfully shutting them down. Y'all might want to be careful about posting direct links to streams.
FWIW, I checked the DirecTV guide...Toluca vs. Tigres is on Telemundo at 8PM EDT. San Luis plays on Telefutura at 10PM EDT. Winoman, I was one (probably amongst others) who posted that bots would be looking for online streams and shutting them down for the Honduras game. I eventually lost the UStream feed I was watching, but I was able to find another. However, that was a somewhat isolated incident, due to the fact that most USMNT games are not on closed-circuit TV. As for shutting down streams, there are certain leagues which more aggressively attack internet streams. I've never had a problem losing a stream for FMF games (knock on wood). I don't think they have the resources to chase down internet streams. The EPL and the German Bundesliga are the two most aggressive leagues.
Castillo is starting for Tigres. Vidal is starting for Indios, who gave up a goal in the 3'. I tuned in for the Pachuca game, but Torres didn't start...and, according to Soccernet, he didn't make the bench for Pachuca. Since he's been a regular for them, I wonder if this might have to do with travel back from duty with the MNT.
hold....the...phone Castillo has a freaking cannon!!! he just unloaded from deep and it didnt miss by much
He's a really talented attacker. For all the talk about him securing the LB spot, he could easily be a left mid and let Landon play forward or elsewhere in MF.
oh i would take E Castillo over Rogers at left mid in a heartbeat. hes played great today. He absolutely does not hesitate to get up the wing, but he gets back quick too.
Rogers hasn't shown much in the MNT jersey, but he and Torres both added something positive to our team during their minutes at RFK. I do think Castillo would be an upgrade at LB, despite Bornstein's solid showing vs. Costa Rica. It's funny how posters in the MNT forum were singing Torres' praises after the game...all they had to do was ask those of us who follow him regularly with Pachuca!
Tigres just tied it up in the 88th, and the goalscorer celebrated by, get this......doing the Dinosaur. That is freaking legend
Good result for Tigres, as they tie the top team in Mexico right now 1-1 on the road. Indios lose 2-0, with Vidal and Castillo both going the full 90. Pachuca lose 2-0 with Torres not making the squad, as mentioned earlier. San Luis now kicking off...I'm hoping to watch some of this one, now that the kids are in bed.
Is he on the bench? I missed the starting line-ups and Soccernet is only showing two subs available for San Luis.
Soccernet has now updated - Orozco is on the bench. According to MedioTiempo.com, he is neither injured nor ineligible for today's game. Maybe the coach wants to keep the same line-up that earned three points last game (when Orozco was out due to a red vs. Toluca).
