F-ing Caicedo played like Ñoñia his passing was horrific to put it lightly he f up a few fast breaks. Hurtado and Espinoza showed there age by being slow as hell.

I'm sorry to say but we have no forwards. Benitez and Caicedo make really nice dribbles but they are not effective. Forlan and Suarez showed us what good forwards do. Simple but devastatingly effective.

I can't blame the defense, because they should never be in situations where they are 2 on 2 against those guys. Our offense let us down in the worst way, and since we had to start getting more desperate, that's when the Uruguayans found space behind our midfield. They played the perfect game, and we couldn't break them down. So I gotta give them credit. We simply cannot play in the World Cup when our forwards have scored a total of 4 goals in 17 qualifying matches (Benitez 3, Caicedo 1). I put the blame on those guys.

Caicedo always plays like that. I criticized him years ago. he's slow and every goals he scored is due to some back heel bullshit or when his back is facing goal and he outmuscles some weak defender. Like my father always said. para sacarse un defensa Uruguayo..UUFF..taking Noboa out was suicide. Check out the video at :32 to :35 and see how dumbass Ayovi gives up and trotts.. jackass. Follow that MotherFacker and cut him off. do something and stop the video at :52.. Where in the hell was the defense to get caught out like that?

Caicedo needs to drop serious weight, and cut some muscle mass. He's clearly too big and burly and therefore slow and reacts slower than other forwards. Even Adriano I think is more mobile. As for Noboa, he should have stayed on but Montero did center in the ball for the goal. As for the AWFUL defending, it's simply inexcusable. I really think Lara should have been put in, seeing as how Zura's awful performance makes us all question what the hell Vizuete thinks when he's making selections.

    I agree with you Manolo....

all this time I critized those two forwards but people called me a "hater" etc....

But now I guess now people understand why I am hate them??

b/c as much support as you give Caicedo and Benitez (especially)....they let you down EVERY SINGLE FU*KING time....so why support them?? Why back them up when they get insulted?? they're USELESS...and EVERY single person on here needs to understand that....it's like Pizarro and Farfarn for Peru...they may achieve the greatest success with their club teams but as far as NT's....NOOO WAYYY!

And I point fingers and La Sombra Espinoza for a while now...and Benitez...I hope you all see what I am talkin about now.

Why should we deserve going to a World Cup to see the SAME F*CKIN BS EVERY SINGLE TIME?? There's other who deserve this experience at a World Cup way more than our NT and by now it is CLEAR as WATER.

Why wasn't Mina called up??? LOL why wasn't Jairo Campos called up??!! Why WAS la Sombra Espinoz called up?? why didn't Vizuete sub him out WHEN HE DAMN WELL KNOWS ESPINOZA f-'s UP at the last 20-30 minutes of every game?? Do you need to be a rocket scientist to visualize the disaster that Espinoza causes most of the 2nd half??

    I don't think so...

To summarize for everyone that knows about futbol...why didn't we qualify?? simple...b/c of Geovanny Espinoza and Cristian Benitez.

I don't think I have much explaining to do...both players are at fault for making us loose the most important games in this Qualifying tournament.

LDU4ever...right now we don't have to be thinking about Bieler...we have to be thinking about how we are going to restructure our forwards and our defense for the next qualifiers...esta eliminatoria SE ACABO.

Since Vizuete is a bit ignorant I'd say someone send him a letter and tell him to consider names such as: Jairo Campos, Michel Castro, Dieson Mendez, Diego Calderon, and Wilson Folleco for our defense....and have Benitez leave the NT for good. At this point that is all I can say. And hopefully someone can show Joao Rojas how to play ball at a NT level.

Adios Esipinoza, Hurtado, Mendez, Lara, Zura, Palacios, Hidalgo, Benitez, and even Elizaga...b/c most of them are aged or out of place in our NT. I'm thankful for their services and everything they've done for Ecuador, but it's time to move on. I don't want to see Ecuador turn into the next Colombia.

ojala esto no sea un retroseso en el futbol ecautoriano....

I know all those players are angered at themselves and at eachother for what happened today...it's gonna take a while for the chemistry b/t each player to blend in again. I'm sure everyones mad at Espinoza, Benitez, Caicedo, and even Ayovi....and obviously Vizuete.

I doubt it's going to stop ecuadorian footballers from going overseas...look at Peru, their NT sucks, but they got individuals who perform greatly in their respective club teams.

Ecuador was slow on defense. Ecuador was not effective in offense. Vizuete should have changed first Caicedo for Montero. For the second and third change, he should have waited to see how the team played for a few minutes. Vizuete now wants to excuse himself that of why Ecuador could not win. He knew before the game the way that Uruguay was going to play in Quito. Defend and counter attack that was not new. Everybody knew that. That is how Uruguay played and beat Ecuador. Hurtado and Espinoza cannot play together. One of them has to sit and be replaced by a faster and younger player. Hopefully, Vizuete will be illuminated for this Wednesday and replace certain "starting players", if they at least want to have a chance to beat Chile in Chile. Ecuador was very weak on defense and in a few attacks that Uruguay made, Ecuador's defense showed a lot of uncovered gaps. Vizuete has to fix this, if not Chile will eat Ecuador alive.

Not only Ecuador needs hope vs Chile. It also needs better defense. If the defense is not o.k., Ecuador will not play well in Chile. Caicedo should not start. Who could replace Noboa and Valencia from the start? As for defense, either Hurtado or Espinoza should not play. Which one and who should play instead? Vizuete needs to do these changes if he does not, Ecuador will not have a chance in Chile.

Ecuador could have won this game with the players they started on the field but let this one go. Just as the games in Quito played in the past like vs Venezuela 0-1, Colombia 0-0, Brasil 1-1, Paraguay 1-1, and Uruguay 1-2. Ecuador lost a lot of points in Quito. This is why Ecuador is in the position they are today. With very little chance in qualifying to the World Cup.

For these eliminatorias i don't think you can get worse luck than this!! We tied games that we should have won. But we also f'd up on defense and offense. I really feel bad for our mids because they are arguably the second best midfield in south america (behind Brazil). Elizaga has also been a good goalie. Hopefully chile lets us win but if that doesn't happen we need to start getting ready for the copa america so we could make a statement for the next qualifiers.

normally, i just read the posts. I live in Germany, so i don't have much clue about what's going on in Ecuador.
I'm disabled and yesterday, i stay late although i was sick.
But this time, i actually saw the whole game. Just like against venezuela, i'm pretty pissed!

I can't believe the brilliant move of Vizuete. Taking out Noboa ? He has to stop drinking Zhumir before the game. He didn't see, thats he was the best in the field. Applause for Vizuete.
Montero has a lot of talent and he will be great player. But yesterday, he made nothing (only the cross to the goal, which i think, he aimed for caicedo or benitez, not valencia).
Benitez tries and tries and tries and tries. But that's it. I can't still believe, how he managed not to hit the ball after that super cross from valencia .
But i still think, he's the best we've got. He needs to trust himself and start believing.
Caicedo did nothing. Only to loose the ball and "pass". I agread with a post here, he should be repleced by montero, not Noboa .
Mendez, reascos, ayovi and valencia we're too well marked. They couldn't do much against Uruguay. They did also some "passing". Like castillo.

You can't blame the referee. Yeah, he gave two unbelievables yellows cards. But he also, did not gave a yellow for castillo or give a penalty kick, when hurtado using all his "skills" tackled down Suarez. It isn't his fault, that Espinoza is so a lame excuse for defender in the goal from Suarez. Even the germans commentarists couldn't believe it.

Well, for one, i think it was the fault of vizuete (who has to learn to be a real trainer) and chiripiorca for letting vizuete be in charge, while he is bussy, giving out the money to things nobody needs, like casa de la seleccion.

honestly, I was so angry I just left, and stopped watching the game after Uruguay tied but Montero didn't do much because all the other guys could.t give accurate passes becasue they were being defended..it makes me so angry how we've played lately..when that penalty went in my heart crumbled literally. But what could you do...I think that spot kick was bogus because a second before a uruguayan touched the ball with his hand and no penalty was called but immediately when the ref caught espinoza slipping and Elizaga ran for the ball,he calls it a foul....lifes unfair sometimes because Uruguay didn't even play that great....I really hope someone in Fifa calls out this match and could give us at least a tie because that penalty wasn't right, that ref stole a tie from us,and if this were Brazil they would get a victory for a scam like this, but I guess I'm just dreaming...I pray that Argentina destroys the scum that is Uruguay

oo ya and the hand ball that the Uruguayan defender commited wasn't a penalty right?????? And the othe tackles what about those??? I forgot, your just seeing Uruguay's side, My friend karma comes back and when it comes back it hits you hard,Uruguay is going to get a little listen against Argentina I assure you...all this Qualfiers you guys have done nothing but dive and fake penalties, and score offside goals..just like the three goals in 6-0win over Peru, but like I said Uruguay's going to learn the hard way...And btw Uruguay doesn't win because their good its because they have a ref on their side

haha your nuts .. youre right karma does come back.. before this game alot of ecuadorians were talking too much even the coach of ecuador.. and guess what karma caught up to you guys.. and alright if you want to take away 3 goals we scored against peru ... it was 3-0 alright pepe... you happy.. lol.. your honestly gonna say the ref was on our side.. watch the game again analyze it good and pay special attention to the last couple minutes you wouldve seen that uruguay got around your defense and cavani got around your goalie .. even if the goalie didnt foul cavani he still wouldve had an open net

yeah your right...it's really sad and just a pity to see such a great midfield and other exceptionally great players not make it to the world cup b/c of errors that other ignorant players have committed this whole time. and some how people worship those ignorants....
