Another yank abroad add him to the list.... laurent manuel signs with kv oostende in belgium http://pdl.uslsoccer.com/home/365753.html http://www.bigapplesoccer.com/teams/roughriders2.php?article_id=20040
Most of the info I have found on this guy indicates that he is French. However, the Oostende website claims that he was born in New York and has dual nationalities. The website also mentions that he spent time at both Portsmouth and Marseille. I would guess that they are including trials/training stints in the list of clubs, though they do not specify. Anyway, he is a 23 year old defender who has played in one game (the last game so hopefully a tend toward more PT) for a total of 45 min. Oostende are looking good, though it is still early in the season, and currently reside in 2nd place in the 2nd division (EXQI League).

Hi, here is 2 more yanks abroad! Bryan McGraw, DoB: 3 July 1991, TSG 1861 Kaiserslautern Bryan played his first season in 2009 in the USL for the Vermont Voltage and is back in Germany now, and his brother Mitchell McGraw, DoB:16 Mai 1994, VFR Kaiserlautern Both played for Region 1 ODP Europe State team in 2007/2008. ciao, Fusidude
Didn't want to post a thread on the main YA listings as it isn't cut and dried yet: Leeds midfielder (he plays on the left or in the middle) Bradley Johnson has spoken to Bradley about a potential USMNT call-up according to an interview he's given to Sky Sports. He qualifies for the US through his grandfather. He's 22 and in my opinion, having seen a lot of the US' current midfield, he could fit in there and do very well. He's of a similar standard to most of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradley_Johnson and the interview: http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,16710_5617882,00.html
Color me interested. I've streamed two of Leeds games this season and Johnson impressed each time. Commentators were very high on him. I like what I saw: a combination of decent speed, good touch, and a knack for goal. He didn't score in either game but was dangerous in the attack. Johnson out preformed Beckford and Becchio which is a testament to his abilities. He's definitely one to monitor if he is indeed eligible for the US. Hopefully Leeds are promoted so we can see he and Grella at a higher level. P.S. I went ahead and started a thread in the main forum. I think it's worthy enough. Thanks to you!
Anyone know anything about a player named J. Diaz (full first name unknown) for W Connection for Trinidad and Tobago? He appears on the Concacaf champions league roster for this team with an American flag next to his name. http://www.concacafchampions.com/page/CL/TeamRelatedLink/0,,12856~6753~1,00.html Reason I asked was he already has a double in the Champions league game tonight and might need to get him on the goal scorers' list (as well as any other goals.) Edit: He probably is this player, Jose Carlos Diaz, born 1987 in Napa, California. Wiki lists him as a Mexican though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Diaz_(American_footballer)
Looks like it's this guy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Diaz_(American_footballer) Clicking on his name on the website you linked gives you his full name.
Jyler Noviello is now with Team Wellington of the New Zealand Football Championship. He played with Wilmington this past summer. I did a quick search, and did not see him mention, so hopefully this is not old news. http://www.tw.org.nz/index.php?page=home&item=386 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jyler_Noviello
Pachuca has been scouting So. California for some time. I know one kid who is already playing there for their youth team, and at least two more will be trying out later this month. I won't mention names until they get signed (if they do) to a pro contract. I don't know if other Mexican clubs are also scouting as intensely as Pachuca, but we could be seeing more and more Mexican-American players going to Mexico.
Some more names to yanks abroad list ... Both these players from U15 ODP Europe State Team have been picked up by 1FCK (Germany) for thier youth team. John-Markus Maddolini and Andrew Fitzpatrick are both from 1996.
Thanks for the note. Looks like the former player is shown with the U15s; no mention of the latter yet... http://www.fck.de/de/nachwuchs/u15-u12/mannschaftsfotos.html
Adin Brown (Aalesund , Norway) going home. http://fotball.aftenposten.no/eliteserien/article155894.ece
So if Google translated accurately he is still not recovered from injury and is contemplating retirement. It would be a shame if he had to leave the game, as he has been a solid player.
Not sure if these guys were listed but I founded them while looking at the Israeli Premier League (yeah I have little to no life): Ryan Adeleye of Hapoel Be'er Sheva AFC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Adeleye Bryan Gerzicich of Hapoel Haifa FC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryan_Gerzicich Erik Hort of Hapoel Ra'anana (wiki link is from Jan 09): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erik_Hort Apparently Leonard Krupnik has resigned with Maccabi Netanya FC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maccabi_Netanya_F.C. Michael Greenberg for Maccabi Petah Tikva FC? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maccabi_Petah_Tikva_F.C.
Has anyone ever considered linking the YA list to the associated threads for players where applicable? Might be a lot of work..but would be really cool
Who is this guy? Team website says he is from Dublin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Daly_%28footballer%29
