I'll be in KC this weekend. I 'm looking for a place to watch a few WCQ matches. Anybody getting a group together or know the best place to go?

Hillcrest Road has the scoop that both of the usual suspects (Fox and Hound AND 810 Zone) will be hosting watch parties for both games. I would guess that 810 Zone would be geared more toward the US, and F&H more toward the Wizards, but that's just a spitball guess based on sponsorship deals.

I'm planning to watch from the comfort of my couch...

I don't live far from Fox and Hound so that's probably where I'll wind up, for a while at least.

Since I will be traveling through the great state of Wyoming for the next two KC and USMNT games, I have the feeling I am going to miss out on watching all of the exciting soccer over the next week since none of these games are on the Mother Channel. :(

Kind of wishing I had a laptop instead of a PC at this point. I'll be depending on the ESPN ticker for scores......I hate that.

If your in Wyoming, get your ass down to Sandy, Utah. That way you won't miss anything.

They won't have the game, but you won't care. You're arteries might care though.

We went over to the Town Center 810 to watch the US match. They did have the Wizards on, but no US, but were so crowded, we moved on. Ended up watching some on justintv.

I won't be at either watch party as Misty and I either have the flu (hopefully not of the swine variety) or a bad reaction to something we ate. No fever right now, but don't want to get anyone else sick.

Probably more likely to be H1N1 if you don't have a fever but have other flu-like symptoms. I just got over a particularly nasty flu last week and never spiked a fever, but ultimately it was just another flu. I don't think H1N1 is some horrific 90% mortality rate disease, despite the fair share of press it is receiving.
