Expected a letdown game against Venezuela. This team is young and excited, I figured they wouldn't be completely focused. Oh well though. I really am looking forward to tomorrow though. I'm sure they will be very hungry and have something to prove. I can really see us taking a point home from tomorrow. GEAUX CHILE!

    atdhe.net for the game.

Sanchez draws a penalty. Suazo scores. Down 2-1 at half, huge momentum turner though possibly.

    Unfortunately :(.

At this point, I don't even know what to put the Brazilian win on, their incredible game, or our pathetic showing today.

I just don't understand how this happened. Everything looked INCREDIBLE at 2-2. Came back from 2-0 down on the road to tie and be a man up and then have this happen is just ...depressing.

They gave up after they tied the game. I still can't believe it. They thought the game was closed... they didn't want to make the effort to win. You could see them walking on the field, passing the ball purposelessly. Total apathy.

They just waited for Brazil to score. Pathetic. Now Sanchez (by far our best player) won't be able to play against Colombia... AND we're still not 100% qualified yet...

I really hope Bielsa is as pissed off as I am.

Well we're at least assured of a playoff-spot if we just keep goal differential better than Venezuela. They can only catch us at 27. Colombia can finish with 26 at best and no matter what the outcome of the Arg-Uruguay match, one of them will be denied of reaching 27 or above. Basically just need 1 point to clinch a top 4 spot. 2-2 tie would've been huge tonight.

Loco loco.

Need a Uruguay-Ecuador tie to pretty much wrap up a top 4 spot, or else we're going to have to earn it. And yeah I imagine Biesla is going to go off!

I must say that card Sanchez got was total BS. The Brazilian player fouled him and he got the card.

I honestly don't know what the hell happened. They just shut off. They started backing themselves against the wall, and the result was just what they asked for.

If we do make it to South Africa, what are the chances we see these guys again? 98 is running through my mind.:(I want no part of that team until 2014 qualifiers.

Agreed. They are an incredible team. I don't know, if we do make it to S. Africa, I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves. The team really has to pull it together and has a run, that if not long, then at least makes us Chilenos proud.
