God has already demonstrated that he hates us

how else do u explain 1994, 1998 and the F8ccking Greeks winning the euro cup at our expensE?

we have to play amazing to ever get anywhere.

were out , the results wont fall our way. once we dont control our destiny we are ********ing screwed

do you guys think we are ********ing Italy? and other teams will magically let us qualify by some act of God?

for ********s sakes how long have you people been following Portugal. you should know the deal by now.

Queiroz hates Sporting. never starts any of our players and moutinho and veloso never play. guess what he plays 4-4-2 losango the same system SCP has been playing for years and these guys never play. thats not even important because we do haev alot of good midfielders. the main thing is liedson did not start. WHAT THE ******** IS WRONG WITH HIM.

Listen if we win all our games we are on 19 points and into the playoffs
the 2nd place team in group 9 will be the team to miss out.

Denmark and Sweden hate eachother, Denmark hasn't lost a home quailfier
since 1981 and beat sweden last time. That game will be a draw!!!

We will limp into the playoffs with a big win on the last day agaisnt malta

Thank God. So it is possible, but we need help. So just because if we happen to win them all, doesnt mean we're through. Im sure Sweden will beat Denmark though.

Haha that crossed my mind too. But I would never give up JJ from Benfica. If he leaves Benfica in a few years, then ok. But never now. :D

Yeha, with the penalty, we would of won. Hungary have a good team. Their no joke, but we should beat them both matches tough. Definitely win at home, away will be tough.

Wow, you are vexed with anger. Imagine Moutinho & Veloso on this team, our MF would be solid. The sporting academy is enriched with talent, Look at Nani, Ronaldo.... Our best players.

Another thing, Where is the vet presence? Simao, that little goat boy cant even score and he is our most experienced player.

I can deal with frustration but I cannot deal with incompetence. Like frank cunha says, "If its not meant to be, drink porto wine".

We can be better than runners-up from group 9 or 3 and hence go to the play-offs

I wish, but don't fcking tease me right now. Jesus. I will lose it right now. They aren't going to tie. Denmark is going to roll over.

Man F Benfica, Portugal > Benfica. Remember Benfica play IN Portugal.

I will snap. I will snap. Watching training videos from yesterday and Ronaldo is hitting on his free kicks..I will snap.

I want a statement from CQ, immediately. From someone.

    isnt it scotland?

btw, we are not good neighbours with denmark, swedes and danes are rivals. Denmark pretty much hates us since Denmark used to belong to sweden but got split up in war.

Because Scotland has more games (2 more) than Hungary, so we can beat them. I know people from both countries (Sweden and Denmark) and tell me they actually like eachother:confused: someone clear my mind on that!

Sweden has to lose. A tie isnt safe, especially because Sweden has weaker opponents and could improve their goal average. they already have it better than ours. If Portugal wins all games under these Swedish conditions, they will qualify because they will beat northern ireland and scotland in the runners-up competition

It's possible, but very very hard

All of you need to take a step back and breath.

I witnessed the match and even though i know all of you despise Queiroz, he cannot be blamed.

After the intial 10 or so minutes where Portugal were slow off the mark(which is always the case) Denmark was absolutly dominated. There were 4/5 goals on a platter in the first half alone with a fantastic performance done by Deco.

The only change Queiroz should have done was have started Liedson(who looks like the fox in the box youve needed for a while...considering it was his first ever 45 minutes of intl football, he was very good and looked dangerous..I thought he scored the winner at the end!) in place of meireles(who i personally believe is a average player at best) and shift Simao into that cameronesi/ Di Maria/izmailov role in a 4-4-2 diamond like those teams use...out left in a sort of free role which suits him best.

Nani is a great spark plug to have off the bench..and with the injuries to Danny and Quaresma ridiculously out of the picture you needed soemone to bring that in the second half, and simao isnt that sort of player.

He missed 3 Grade A scoring chances...but so did ronaldo, especially that first one..how many times for Manchester United did you see him cut into the box beating his marker and blasting it in..yet for Portugal he missed them all.

Theres still hope, all you need is for Sweden to tie, at the very least, in Denmark. Which will probably happen as Denmark hasnt lost at home in years and will be getting their top players back for that matchday.

That just leaves Portugal in a position to adminster a proper bitch slapping in your final three games...and with Liedson as striker with Simao/Nani roaming the left of midfield playing the way you did today, you will probably do so....thus ensuring a better goal differential.

Portugal's team is superb, some top quality players all over the park, and you were missing Manuel Fernandes(saw him alot for Valencia last season..usually in the big games vs Barca/Real Madrid and he absolutly stood out then) and Danny..both of whom suit the 4-4-2 perfectly.

So you need two things to qualify for the playoffs now:

1- need Sweden to tie one game...they have Malta, Denmark and Albania in that order...

2- Score a few goals vs Malta and Hungary x2

Not to worry, our top secret facilities have gotten hold of alien genetic material and are even now reproducing a clinical striker whose head looks a bit like Pepes in the heart of Dreamland, Groom lake Nevada:D

If they tie one game and we win ALL, we will have the same points. Sweden has a better goal average than us at the moment and they will play weaker teams, so they will have that advantage. Sweden needs to lose one game

Now, lets make a deal: You win twice over Hungary, and we will fix the Swedes in Copenhagen. Ok, Deal?

Hence why I said you need to score some goals in your last 3 games, which Portugal should be perfectly able to do.

I gurantee you that if you play Hungary the way you did today you will win by a minimum 3/4 goal margin.

Especially if Queiroz plays Liedson up front alongside Ronaldo and Simao/Nani in that role on the left..probably simao to start since hes more of a two way player adding balance, then Nani to come on in the second half vs tired legs.

Can we win Malta too? At this point i do not know if we could beat them ;)

Sweden could score alot of goals against Malta (away) and Albania (home) too.

We play with three natural CBs on a day we need to win.

We start with two wingers as striker.

    We didn't play Veloso.

What else can he ******** up?

How will the Danish team approach the match vs Sweden you think?

The likes of Agger and co will surely be back, and I hope they dont take the game lightly.

A win vs Sweden in that match would be repaying the favour Portugal gave you in Lisbon:D
