Anybody try out this demo? Any thoughts? Personally, I'm a little disappointed. It's not bad, and they've certainly got some cool style stuff going down, but... I think it's a skip for me. I like to reward developers who make interesting and innovative games for adults, but when it comes down to the gameplay... something's missing, for me. It probably didn't help that the demo felt disjointed. Unlike Batman, switching between different gameplay styles didn't feel seamless. Maybe that's a consequence of trying to fit the disparate game elements into a demo when the story doesn't lend itself to recutting. It felt herky-jerky.
I thought the slow mo sliding and jumping were cool.. but I really couldn't get into it, I didn't feel it was as smooth as I thought it would be.. maybe I'll rent it once it comes out.
