And why would you assume it was because your not all white that this assumption was made? I read nothing in Roush's statement that remotely implied that this had anything to do with race, and I am not white.

Just not seeing how this conversation is going anywhere good at all unless it winds up with the wannabe-hooligans leaving so the folk on the Cauldron do not wind up being tainted by their immaturity.

I'm saying that because I have witnessed what drunkenness looks like and I have witnessed what stonedness looks like. There is a difference. I have seen both sorts of inebriation coming from your group, just as I have witnessed both sorts of inebriation in Cauldron "old-timers". I've also witnessed what happens when people attempt to engage in dialogue with people in altered states.

My statement wasn't any sort of commentary on race, it was more a statement of human nature. I could care less whether you're black, white, brown, purple, pink, rainbow or polka-dot. I didn't bring up the race card - and I think it's shallow of you to try to hide behind it yourself.

All I care about is that the group of "supporters" you represent exhibits hooliganistic tendencies that I don't find appropriate. Not appropriate for our section and not appropriate for American soccer. Hopefully you will grow out of it or leave the section before you say or do something that ********s it up for the rest of us.

Can't we all just rally around the great things in life, the things that unite, rather than divide us? Like my butt, for example.

I am Southern Voodoo and the rest stopped coming into the cauldron becuz of the drunken idiots. We don't get drunk and yell obscenties through out the entire game or come in late drunk, push ourselves to the front and piss everyone off around us. There is nothing wrong with drinking, if you can handle it!! The red head and clown dude are not in the front row of the cauldron all the time. I am not even sure they belong to any group other than the Cauldron.

I believe what Mike what was saying in the beginning of this thread was we need more groupness or cohesiveness not 4 different groups doing what they want when they want. We are ALL for ONE!!! NOT Several FOR OURSELVES! We need to show KC Wizards, MLS, other teams fans and our own fans, we are there for the Wizards and the Wizards only. We fight among ourselves more than we get along.

Sam...Kelli in our group loves your belly more than your ass! She would like to rub it...just saying!

LOL who said I was getting pissy about it. Ahh but once again you assume. (btw you do that very well) I was just stating the truth or facts. I know that they can't hear it on the field but the people around that person can. It is a supporters section for the Wizards not a comedy show or stand up at the bar on Sat night. As an old timer I would have figured you would have polity said something to the person trying to be funny. But instead you where just happy they were signing. To bad it was the wrong team they were singing for. Btw it is not the first time I have heard comments about AO folks singing US songs while this Wizards are playing. To some it goes to show what they are all about.

First off, I didn't say you were pissy, just that I wasn't going to get mad about it. You assumed I was talking about you. I'm happy they were singing because that's more than we ever get from you standing there with your arms crossed berating players and making fun of the stuff we do. I'd be happy if you were singing for Chelsea or Halifax because then I'd know you're actually capable of supporting a team instead of just being a miserable bastard all the time.

No surprise you don't know how to spell the word politely.

Whats the difference between AO jokingly chanting for the US, (While the US is what what we are all about, and the Wizards currently blowing) and what you and your buddy do every game? All you guys did all season was talk negative about the team, members of the Cauldron, and the coaching staff. Don't act like you don't because any one who stands there regularly knows that. I for one, and I'm sure others, would rather hear you cheer for Chelsea than bitch all game.

If the team can't perform up to standard while we are paying their salaries, why does the Cauldron have to?

Because we are there to support the Wizards. We're not there to support the US team or degrad our team. I'm not a fan of what Spoon and Tony do, I've even confronted Tony about it in the past, I heard the same thing though, coming from people that were hanging out with AO behind me at the last game.

The chanting US is a simialr situation as when people come up at US games and confront people wearing club jerseys. It shouldn't matter at games what the group is all about, at the game and in the Cauldron you are there to support the Wizards.

I agree, I don't mean to sound like I support the AO guys doing that. I wasn't at the last game, so I don't know the situation. But I think if we are talking about lesser of two evils, I would want someone chanting for the US rather than degrading the Wizards every game, win or lose. I do, however, agree that neither is right.

I agree, when we're there it needs to be about the Wizards first, same as you don't wear club jerseys to Nats games if you have a choice about it. I didn't pick up on the US as an organized thing last week, just a couple people a few times. Brian Bauer was on the stand with me and didn't sing US at all. I'll support trying to make a point about cutting it out, but it's not a huge issue given the rest of the problems we face, and I think most of this will be cleared up by the team giving us some sliver of hope.

I think that AO should be permanently removed from the section.
That dumb "Hand of Impartiality" or whatever they call it is merely a representation of their lack of devotion to the Wizards.

we all need to simma down now.

i think every group can take a stick out of its collective asses.

some need to take it out for...

thinking one group is better than the other
we can do or say anything we want to
we know whats best for the section
we suck so we will sing what we want
we suck so we will be negative
    racial BS that isn't there
    i've been here longer i ...
    i'm new i can ....
    i'm drunker i can ...

everyone needs to chill the F out and get over everything. for f's sake the off season is going to be rough enough. with attitudes like this and everyone jumping up each others asses will just make the section splinter and break like dallas' and raise the calls for relocation even louder.

No, all that's going to do is hurt the section. Despite my comments, I like AOKC, most of them I consider to be friends now. We just disagree on which team is bigger in our lives...

BTW, they're not the only ones doing the "Hand of Justice" I've done plenty over the past few years, as have many other people in the Cauldron who are not members of AO.

I know Justice and his "Hand of Impartiality" and can let everyone know that he is not impartial at all. He is partial mostly to young men, but if he has to he will let women get the "Hand of Impartiality" as well.

I think AOKC should go into the corner of the section by the corner flag until they learn to shape up. Maybe they can do a 90 minute drum solo over there!
