any sports bars showing the US game on september 5 in southern PA or Maryland area ? Comcast is gay and i have to pay extra for ESPN classic now
Speaking of Comcast being interested only in other like channels and cable systems -- or however a cable company could be gay -- anyone know what's up with the DirecTV message I get scrolling across Versus saying Comcast is demanding that DirecTV stop showing the channel Tuesday "unless DirecTV meets Comcast's unreasonable demands". DirecTV calls alot of pretty normal and fair things "unreasonable" (like satellite taxes, having to provide local channels, etc.), and they of course do not offer details for us to determine if they are truly unreasonable, or would just cut a bit into DTV's profits. I am interested in hearing about any viewing parties for the DCU game and the US game out in western/northern Va.
Is ESPN Classic streamed on espn360.com? If so, now that comcast internet users have access to 360, that would be an option for viewing the match.
Maybe he meant happy, like the Flinstones theme song. I'll be watching the game in Salt Lake City. I'm not sure if that's gay.
Hm. I didn't know that word "ment" stupid. Merriam-Webster (at www.merriam-webster.com) gives: 1 a : happily excited : merry <in a gay mood> b : keenly alive and exuberant : having or inducing high spirits <a bird's gay spring song> 2 a : bright, lively <gay sunny meadows> b : brilliant in color 3 : given to social pleasures; also : licentious 4 a : homosexual <gay men> b : of, relating to, or used by homosexuals <the gay rights movement> <a gay bar>
Only in the vernacular of someone stuck in middle school. Comcast is simply happy to take your money and not provide you with service.
Ment? For what it's worth, gay is not a synonym for stupid. Maybe you ought to stop texting on your cell phone long enough to pick up a dictionary.
so i guess calling Beckham a C&nt everytime he touched the ball last week was wrong too ? hahaha all these posts and nothing about sports bars showing the game
Huh? I don't get the analogy. In one case, you're using "gay," a label which applies to a lot of people (including some DCU fans and readers of this forum), as a perjorative. How is using the word "c*nt" as a perjorative analogous? Gay people understandably aren't too keen at the word "gay" being used as an insult; it's bigotry. Is there a population of people out there called "c*nts" who don't like the word "c*nt" used as an insult? How in the world are these analogous?
um, the little dude doesn't even know what gay means, how the ******** do expect him to know what pejorative, and analogous mean (but I bet he giggles like a school girl at that last one!)
