As some of you may be aware of, local MLS side, NY metrostars, have advanced to their first ever Cup final. The U.S. Open Cup will be hld on october 15, 8 pm at Giants Stadium. It is imperative that all NY soccer/football fans attend this game, wether you are a Metrostars fan or not. please visit www.empiresc.com and www.metrostars.com for more info. I know there are a few folk who are fans of both Arsenal and Metrostars, but it is really important that ALL soccer fans attend the game. Great football doesn't just have to exist in Europe/South America anymore! Plus there will be a massive pub party at Nathan Hale's in the hours leading up to the game!
So psyched for this! It is always great to see Gooners at the Swamp. I know there are a fair amount of people who hang at Nevada Smiths who don't want anything to do with MLS. I hope you will all understand that this is the most important night for a club side at Giants Stadium since the days of the Cosmos! An appropriate Cup Final atmosphere is a possibility, but we need people in the seats to generate that vibe.
