I don't see RB Nation as being an especially active supporters group. And I do think there is room for another active supporters group. It's just my opinion, but ESC seems pretty insular. GSS is Jersey-based and part of the whole hardcore scene, which is cool for them but maybe not for others.

RBN are good people, they have kids and families and needed something more in line with their values. A lot of them used to get rowdy with ESC back in the day.

All fair points but there's no need to rag on the existing supporter groups while trying to establish your own

our last conversation from a year ago? you mean the one where you claimed we were hooligan wannabes because we have tattoos, wear camo and hooded sweatshirts? or was it the one where you claimed we were mooching off of esc by sitting in there section?

Glad to see some of you have done your research, Mr. Sack. While I was unhappy with the name originally unhappy, unlike some, I dealt with it. After reading some of the postings, I have been inspired to go in a different direction. But fear not, my chants will be heard, and by seasons' end, will trump esc's!

And for the record, I do not work for the FO, but I wouldn't mind... :)

Hey i have nothing against stadium wide chants, that would be great...but while your at it can you fix it so it doesn't sound like a Chucky Cheese gathering with all the 10 year old voices doing it like the REEEED....BUULLLS one.

    Many thanks.

Aslo, we're ALL dealing with it in some form or another. Some refuse to support it, some are still very outspoken about it but go to games, some quietly object, some pretend like its not an issue like Viper, and others just buy it hook line sinker.

I am now convinced you don't work for the FO. Even RBFO's is not that delusional ;)

Dude, that is the ONLY chant coming from the 90% of the stadium that is not 101. I see no reason to dump on it, though I have not been inclined to participate recently. No, it's not especially imaginative, but at least it's something.

the rrrreeeddd. Bbbuuulllsss chants are what initially got me thinking! But, I do agree, we need more like that. That is what my initial aim in all this is and was. I don't think I prefaced it properly in calling it a group. And again, I apologize for mixing up the pot a bit with my hooligan comment. I didn't mean it in that way, was just at a loss of words on how to describe it.

yeah, sorry John, but I can't do that chant either. I would have liked it better if they even copied Penn State and done a We are....Red Bull.

I don't know if I would participate, but I would like it better.

    How about passionate, dedicated, energetic.

Edit: Oh yeah, the only people I have seen thrown out of the stadium for throwing things on the field have been people sitting on the sidelines. Also, the only violence I have seen was when an ESC member was attacked from behind by a DC supporter.

I think you should tell us what you're talking about. It's a little slanderous to say that something terrible was going on in 101 but it is too awful to repeat.

The "Red Bulls" chant was only started to try to get our mostly quiet end of the stadium making some noise. I agree it's not the best, but it's easy for most people to catch on to and make some noise; which is the whole point.

I'm not sure about the future of RBN in RBA. It seems like not all members want to sit in the supporters section, so I see a possible splinter group forming who might merge with a new group looking to start up.

That is another question I have. I haven't seen much discussion on how the groups would be seated and how the seats would be allocated.

RBN is suppose to sit (I believe) in Sect. 132 (?); two sections to the right (facing the pitch) of ESC in 101. So, RBN season ticket holders would get first shot at seats in that section. The problem is some members think that's too close to 101 for a "family friendly" group and might not sit there, but I know of members who will be sitting in that section no matter what.

Who would be the best person to contact regarding RBN?

Don't get me wrong, i think its fine and im not making fun of it or the idea...it just sounds very "high pitched" because of all the kids that yell it.

Look at Viper's avatar and find him at the next game. That is John. At halftime you can catch him out in the spiral of gate B posing for pics and having a cigarette.

Compare that to the "Seattle.....Sounders" chant and you realize what an epic failure the Red Bull name has been.

Well they have adults that go to games in numbers so it sounds deep pitched and imposing when they do it where as we have a large youth club contingent and it sounds like Playland. (not to take anything away from the children its nice they have spirit but it isn't vey awe inspiring)
