How much you wanna bet that's so the ball holds up for Walsh, and makes it harder for Branam to go out for those high clearances.

Kai in for Hanks at half. Sky Blue still with the better possesions. Rosana hits a rocket right at Solo. Also collides with Fletcher for a brief stoppage.

    Kai carded in the 77th.

Francielle should have gotten one a minute earlier.

    Let's go, NRWO !!!

We do have a women's rivalry forum. And once upon a time, it was used by the U.S. club fans, for actual smack talk purposes, but alas, WUSA died, their fans matured and the Europeans/International fans took up shop.

83' Branam wiped out by a green meenie off a CK again.
Why no card there? Malicious intent doesn't mean shit. That was a reckless challenge and deserved a caution.

It really looks like Tancredi pushed her teammate into Branam.

There were two major injuries, Branham and the collision between two players earlier in the half.

It's all good, won't make a difference (he hopes).

94': Ref finally shows a SLA player a card. Cynical hold by Logterman.

At least the SLA bench looks more concerned and involved than the WF bench did on Saturday.

96' Parker missed high from 10 yds.

If NRWO would have shot low and made Solo get dirty, it probably would be leading by 3.

great job sky blue! Total domination..only the ref kept st. louis even close....solo played thats about it for sl........SL does have physical play but thats about all they showed tonight.

sky blue played soccer and it was beautiful especially 1st half....but as always most teams pull back in a defensive shell....

SB has great SOCCER PLAYERS.....nad i love to watch them b/c theyplay real soccer instead of kick ball.....

    ON TO LA!!!!:)

Congratulations to Sky Blue. They played beautiful soccer first half. Second half Athletica added pressure and Sky Blue didn't keep the ball on the floor. But they out gutted Athletica and came out with the win. I think Saturday they will run out of gas, but I won't bet against them. Rampone for coach of the year!

Congratulations to Sky Blue. I never lost faith in the girls. Now its on to L.A. Unbelievable the punishment Branam has taken this season and came back for more. I give credit to Solo. She always comes to play and amazes me. It goes to show you how one player can make a difference. Washington losing Bompastor and Athletica losing Aluko hurt both teams. Considering Sky Blues record against both teams this season makes this more enjoyable. I thought Dowling, O'Reilly, and Averbuch played well. Between Branam's hits and the team getting very little rest, it is a cinderella story.

    I second that!

Huge congrats to the coaches and players of SB... looks like Rampone's "Pack for LA comment" was good reality. Wonder if she added anything beyond that...
