Huffman coming in for Lindsey. First action for Huffman all year. Washington uses their last sub. All subs used up with 17 minutes + who knows how much to go if it would go to overtime. Kai was close again. Just deflected wide for corner. Edit: Nice possession there for Sky Blue. Over a minute and then forced a corner.
That's going to be a big controversy. Washington scores. Wambach rams Branam and then DeVanna scores, but Wambach called for the foul, no she's not. She threw her arms out and hit Branam as she was going by, but the goal stands.
S%@#& 1-1 -edit- Wait, it was "called back", what? It registered on Matchtracker --- oh, okay, non-foul on Wambach.... well S%@#&
No my bad, I thought the ref was calling a foul and instead he was just signalling goal. Basically, it was a 50-50 ball (sort of) and Branam punched it out, but as she's punching it out, Wambach takes her out, leaving a wide open goal for DeVanna.
Francielle's played a total of 28 minutes since we traded her to Sky Blue before this game. Amazing how things happen. 88th minute. My guess is 3-4 minutes stoppage. Branam was down for awhile a couple times. Kai is down, got hit in the face by Huffman, but it was an accident. To me, it looks like Natasha's trying to milk it. It didn't look that bad.
5 minutes of stoppage. Too bad this guy wasn't doing the US-Mexico game. A little much. I thought 4 after Kai's injury.
there goes parker screwing around wiht the ball..we have to trap and pass and keep the ball moving//come on!
wasihngton whoooo!!!! way to go sky blue..everyone jsut craps on you and you guys deserve the win!!!! yea
That's it. Final, the winning goal scored by a player that had played 28 freaking minutes for Sky Blue in the regular season. Congratulations to Sky Blue!
reason being is they had washington already winning this game last week against sky blue, so that had to take down all the stuff and change it to sky blue winning! haha j/k
Congrats and good luck on Wednesday. I don't really like the colour orange, but please make Hope Solo cry.
