There are a secret reports that there are a parley between some countries and the Asian football chief the Qatari Mohamed bin Hammam to join the Asian federation from the european federation, and these countries are Turkey, Georgia and Armenia, and that due to the lower hope of these countries to qualify to the world cup and participate in Eurobean Cup.

    Georgia and Armenia, maybe.

But Turkey, they're somewhat established in Europe. Why would they give it up for the AFC?

I think these 'secret' reports should stay secret.

    Waste of a discussion really....

Yes,Turkey is one of the good teams in Europe, they would never change it.But Georgia nd Armenia, maybe Europe is too hard for them.I could imagine them to join AFC because of thi sreason. But really I don´t think so.

They should better work on getting Kazakhstan back.

In the end, it's all about money and UEFA is making more than AFC.

I just got back from playing MarioKart with Mohammed Bin Hammam and he says it's a swap - if UEFA gives up Turkey, AFC will send Saudi Arabia because they're way too good.

Hmmm.... imagine if Oceania and ASEAN FF were to merge, along with Australia, to playoff for 1.25 WC places.

Would Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia be interested in that?

Why would Turkey give up the chance to play in money making tournaments? EURO, Champions League etc

Australia would beg to get into the East Asian Football Federation if that happened (frankly, that was their ideal course of action in the first place). I doubt the Aussies spent all their time moving up to a more competitive AFC only to get relegated back down to a marginally better Oceania+ confederation.;)

I agree. No way would Australia ever agree to go back to Ociania even with a guarenteed world cup spot.

Why would they when they can top Asia, and get many competitive games in the process?

Any Asian trying to push them there would look bad. Like it is easier to push Australia out then improve their own countries football. Why not force Japan and the Koreas into some Pan-Pacific conference against the USA, Mexico while you are at it? Lets reduce Asia to only my-country + 3 others and we can all qualify regardless of our quality!

    A thinking man!

I've shared your ideas with Mohammad Bin Hammam on Facebook, he says they're good but he wants the Pan Pacific league to play all it's games on a volcano in the middle of the Pacific because that would be awesome.
