Awesome. He did quite well for himself down in South America. Glad to see him signing with a big name Mexican team.

well even though its been Pre-season games, i say hes doing quite well hes played 4 games, and scored 3.
in Paraguay he was actually a fan favorite scoring 10 goals in 18 games.

    Lol Ruiz to Galaxy?

nobody is saying he can't play. his goal scoring records speak for him

it's just whether he WANTS to play in MLS that's the question

again, no thanks. no matter how many goals he scores, he is a clubhouse cancer and his style only works in latin american leagues (read in, his diving and crying won't work over here). good luck to him in the future, but i don't see AEG ever wasting money on him again.

if he feels like making bigger money (than latin america), he should try italy . . . heard they enjoy diving **********.

Galaxy legend, wether you support his antics or not. too bad his return came during a bad time and he had a lot of injurues. He wouldnt do us much good if he came back now.

His style only works in latin leagues? Then explain to me how he dominated the MLS for a few years...

Like a lot of players in the league, once they get figured out...

That being said, I think injuries, apparent laziness and often times, a lack of effort where his downfall in his final years in MLS.

If it took moving abroad to re-light the fire, more power to him.

He *IS* a Galaxy legend, that 2002 season was magical. He scored so many big goals, and finally brought us an MLS Cup.

But yeah, he's a diving, whiny bastard beyond that :p
