Anything short of a WIN, I'm done going to home games this year. If we lose or tie that's it, if we can't beat the second worse team on the road 0-6-2 .125 winning percentage that would be the final nail in the coffin.
Just remember what happened against Dallas when we had three games in 8 days. Not time to get out on the ledge just yet.
Yea Fire need to quickly turn around and forget about Superliga and make sure they get 3 points against a very weak San Jose team. And isnt tomorrow night Polish night?
LOL ... with the BMB news I don't feel very confident for this one. Who's going to start up top. Nyarko? Rolfe? Carr????? Dimitrov? This doesn't boost my confidence much. Rolfe is the only one out of that bunch I would somewhat rely on. Carr will get a ton of playing coming up with BMB out. Hammy has got to be going through withdrawel from not playing his lovechild in so long.
What I'd like to see Busch Ward-Soumare-CJ-Woolard Thorrington Pappa-Mapp Blanco Nyarko-Rolfe SJ are in freefall. This would be a great point to install the Nyarko-Rolfe duo with Blanco feeding 'em. Bang some goals in, get their confidence going.
Hopefully MLS doesn't pull a fast switch on us again and this information is actually correct! REFEREE: Jasen Anno. You (CApouvCurva) are having a personal problem? With fast players, technical players? Since Carr is both - a fully talented player who can make a big difference on any team. Is it a wannabe problem? I don't know, but your little reference to Carr is pathetic. Why don't you talk soccer?
This should be an easy 3 points for you guys, but you never know, we have an ability to randomly play a good game here and there. Lucky for you guys McBride is hurt, he will comeback in rested and still in shape come playoffs.
Im sure most of you have heard but McBride's injury is serious. He had surgery on his right shoulder today and has already been declared out for the entire season and would require a quick heal for him to even be considered for the playoffs. This most likely means his career is finished and it will be a tough loss in our race for the MLS Cup. Im sure Rolfe will move up front for good now playing side-by-side Nyarko and Blanco right behind them.
NO, Hamlett will keep Rolfe at right midfield, and put Nyarko in McBride's spot next to Blanco. This is what Hamlett will do: _____Rolfe__________________________________Pappa_____ _____________Nayarko________________Blanco____________ But this is what he should be doing: ______________________Blanco___________________________ _____Rolfe_________________________________Naryko_______
Conde will be a game time decision tomorrow. Segares is in Dallas and will be playing for Costa Rica on Sunday.
Calen welcome to the boards! Also, welcome to back to the match line up, it's great to to see you getting some match minutes. I hope you are fully healed and ready to compete.
I will be pissed if DH doesnt play Rolfe up front next to Nyarko. Blanco has no business playing up front and if DH plays him up front then we will lose to the quakes. We cant have him slowing up our counter attacks. He needs to be the one playing the balls in behind the defense on our counters rather than receiving a ball up front and just holding it and then taking a dive as soon as he gets touched.
Hamlett's been playing Blanco up front the whole year and Rolfe at midfield all year, why should this game be any different.
I don't buy that excuse, there is NO WAY we should of lost to F*C* Dallas, and there is NO WAY we should lose to San Jose. At the time F*C* Dallas was the worse team in the league and San Jose is currently the second worse team (New York the worse).
It sounds mean but McBride's injury can be a blessing in disguise for this team. Now Rolfe can be a forward!!! A bit more speed up top!! Somewhat less set piece abilities though.
