Hi, I just started playing Hattrick, and have yet to play my first match. The one question I have is what is a good amount of training (and on which skill) should I begin with before my first match? If someone could give me like a ballpark estimate it would be greatly appreciated, for I have no clue where to begin. Thanks.
Always train at 100% intensity for maximum effect. Set stamina to about 12-15% to increase the stamina of your players along with training. If you are just starting (first game tonight), training is tough because you only have one game for the week. Training happens tomorrow evening around 8:30 CST. As a long term goal for training, it really depends on what type of players you want to create. Strikers, midfield/playmakers, defenders, keepers or wingers, then choose the training plan accordingly. Best thing I (and probably the rest of the board here) can suggest is to read the rules thoroughly and when done, go back and read them again. Hattrick can be overwhelming to some and the rules are fairly well written to explain all aspects of the game. ... and by all means, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on here as well. Good Luck!
Playmaking is still king of the game, so that's the best way to improve your team the fastest usually. The easiest thing to train is likely goalkeeper as you only have 2 trainees and just alternate them with one playing league and one playing in the friendly/cup.
Soooo... back on the wagon. Attempting to do PM training. 4 trainees purchased thus far: Nicolas Berger 17 years and 87 days, TSI = 310 In passable form, solid stamina. Keeper: 1/20 disastrous Defending: 2/20 wretched Playmaking: 6/20 passable Winger: 3/20 poor Passing: 3/20 poor Scoring: 2/20 wretched Set pieces: 1/20 disastrous Zulkiflee bin Abd Kadir 18 years and 72 days, TSI = 240 In wretched form, inadequate stamina. [Quick] Keeper: 1/20 disastrous Defending: 5/20 inadequate Playmaking: 6/20 passable Winger: 4/20 weak Passing: 4/20 weak Scoring: 3/20 poor Set pieces: 3/20 poor Kuba Maklakiewicz 18 years and 61 days, TSI = 640 In inadequate form, passable stamina. [Powerful] Keeper: 1/20 disastrous Defending: 2/20 wretched Playmaking: 7/20 solid Winger: 4/20 weak Passing: 3/20 poor Scoring: 5/20 inadequate Set pieces: 4/20 weak Gerco Vergeylen 18 years and 59 days, TSI = 520 In inadequate form, inadequate stamina. Keeper: 1/20 disastrous Defending: 4/20 weak Playmaking: 7/20 solid Winger: 4/20 weak Passing: 3/20 poor Scoring: 4/20 weak Set pieces: 2/20 wretched Ok, so not exactly ideal - I've overspent on them I suppose. Long story short, when my license is complete I'll be close to 90K or so in the black. Should I risk going so far in debt to get the solid trainer right off the bat? I know that in the long run, that is the wise thing to do, but will I survive the start? Edit: My instinct, is to go for the passable coach, leave myself about 10K in the bank and go slightly into debt over the first couple months as I train the bottom 2 trainees up to excellent, sell them for a profit and buy some proper 17yos and then hope to change coaches when I sell my next couple trainees. Thoughts?
And for the life of me, other than repositioning a player during the game (not sure if he'll get training) I don't know how to change my formation. Someone help!
Once you've done enough of the manager license, you'll be able to set different formations. Not having gone through the license program myself, I don't know how long you have to wait.
I need some information can you please help?? I have some good prospect in my youth academy in various position. But the problem is i can't train all. So i am thinking "INDIVISUAL" training. Can anyone please advice me if indivisual training is good idea or not?
So it's getting to where I will be selling off my first significant YA product here in the next few weeks. Doing some research, it sounds like there's a theory out there that you should sell off your YA products at 21 or before. Is this generally accepted as true? Cause it's awfully tempting to just keep going with him (although his wages would get prohibitively expensive for D.VI before long). He's at 20 yrs 90 days old right now. Thanks in advance.
21-22 is probably the age at the lower levels. As you move up the table that age keeps falling back further and further.
Meaning you have to sell them off quicker so you can maintain a steady income from selling, or what? I'm thinking at the upper levels, it would become very much a game of economics, doing an ever higher volume of transactions to keep your team funded, but maybe you meant something else.
No, I mean you keep selling your trainees off at older and older ages. None of my first team midfielders are under the age of 21.
OK thanks for the info. If I have a couple months to play with, I'll see if I can get him to world class before I have to sell him off. Should get a decent coin from that, I would think.
I recommend to you to train Playmaking and use a 3-5-2 as a lineup. Just buy young players of 17-18-19 years old and train them. Is the best way to start the game.
