the whole team was good today, but maybe O. Hawsawi, Al Qadhi, Waleed Abdullah and Noor were a little bit better than the others.

If Korea earn a win in UAE... I suspect they will put their foot off the pedal. We can win this

    S. Korea has beaten Saudi Arabia last time and Korea no longer has any kind of complex.
May be S. Korea has another chance to beat Saudi Arabia.

they cant do it ...they will play for a win even if they beat uae...beating china can lead us to overconfidence which should not happen..

Ah what a relief, now after the NK-Iran game we just need to beat NK in Riyadh. 1-0 and we would be through in second place. No matter what happens in our game against SK. Even if we draw SK it won't make a difference, since both us and NK would be at 11 points but since they won 1-0 in NK we would still need to win to break the headbreaker thing. So against SK we need to go all the way for win, draw would be just like a lost for us no difference. So I hope our players go all ahead against SK and show us some classy Saudi attacking style, since we really have nothing to lose. Even if we win, we will just need a tie against NK.

That's not quite the situation right now, and this is a FIFA competition, so the tie-breaker will be traditional GD, not head-to-head.

If we beat NK and lose to SK, while Iran beat UAE and SK, then both Iran and dus will be on 13 points, and Iran will probably have a better GD.

So, we really need to get at least a point from SK. It's going to be hard because our defense is shoorbah so SK will definitely score 1 goal against us at least, but maybe SK won't play so hard after they've clinched qualification and we can grab an equalizer.

Btw, on paper, this is the best squad we've put out since the start of the qualifiers.

    It's goal-difference. I'm 100% sure.

UEFA and AFC competitions have switched to head-to-head, but FIFA competitions still use GD.

By the way, I wouldn't be over-confident about beating NK. They may lack an edge up front, but our defense is weaker than Iran's, and NK's defense was almost impenetrable today, even during the period when Iran were dominant.

It's going to be a tough game in Riyadh.
