It's that time again, Marylanders. We're meeting at Slainte in Fells Point (Directions included below) for the upcoming matches. The United States National Team is playing two very important qualifiers in the week coming up: Wednesday, June 3rd: USMNT v. Costa Rica (Away) Coverage starts at 9:30pm ET INDUSTRY NIGHT! 1/2 off your entire bill after 9:00pm! Saturday, June 6th: USMNT v. Honduras (Home) Coverage starts at 7:30pm ET Drink specials are expected Once again, I want to stress that we'll be CHANGING OUR MEETING SPOT. We're going back to Slainte in Fells Point, not Alexander's. While the crew at Alexander's was very welcoming, it just didn't quite fit with our scene. John Knapp, one of our fearless leaders, has been in conversations with Slainte about becoming an Official US Soccer bar. They're in the process of coming up with drink specials for us, which will ideally be ready in time for the June 6th match. We’ll be in the upstairs bar with the sound on full blast. Slainte is considering becoming the first offical US supporters bar in Baltimore, which is good for us. So if you're on the fence about whether you're coming or not on Wednesday, it would help our growth significantly if you show up. Let's show the people at Slainte why they should take the leap!
Well... I was hoping to come on big soccer and find a viewing party here in Baltimore. I am staying at the Hyatt on travel and I am really looking forward watching this game! I was thinking about the ESPN zone, but Slainte seems like my kinda place. I should be there.
