The seats are a couple of sections over from the Angel City Brigade, the riot aquad are in the opposite corner to you guys, come over to lot 13 pre-match for a few beers, the guys from ruffneck scarves who are sounders fans tailgated with us last season they can vouch we are soccer fans no wannabee hooligans in our group. I talked to Sid again, and he's super accomodating, but: THIS IS DAVID BECKHAM'S 1ST MLS GAME BACK Sid told me "we can normally only hold tickets for 14 days" (as in roughly til the end of APRIL) - I don't expect him to expand that window for us at all, considering the high demand for this game. Call Sid (GALAXY) (310)-630-2236 - TODAY and tell him you want to sit w/ the sounders fans. If you have $$ to front, consider buying up tickets and reselling them to sounders fans, because we don't want to have a weak presence at this game. Seats are $25 each

Sorry i didnt post earlier so you could have taken this advice for the chivas game, the doubletrees carson civic plaza is the hotel you want, the hampton court is nearer more expensive and doesnt have a bar. The doubletrees has a great sportsbar, good rooms is 5 minutes by taxi to the HDC and has plenty of eating places within 50 yards of it. I have stayed at both ,the doubletrees is the one, this is where the columbus crew fans stayed for the MLS CUP. I hope you dismantle the chivas and look forward to your visit against the galaxy.

Hey SeaDoc, how does the crowd feel about having a couple folks in the group who aren't hardcore? Myself, my girlfriend and son -- north end season ticket holders, will be down there on vacation at the time. And we're game to lend our voice. But we are going to bring along my old college buddy and his wife -- they just moved to LA. Any thoughts on having them as part of the group? They aren't Sounders fans, per se. I'd guess she has never even really watched soccer. Good with them in the section?
oh, absolutely! We make no restrictions on who can join us, it's all about having fun. The only thing I would suggest for them to be aware of is the probability that people will be standing in front of them. Depending on how the seats go, that might not happen.
Me and my English cousin already bought game tickets, plane tix and booked round flights. Planning to hit the glamours of Hollywood and Beverly Hills again for that weekend.
And be sure to lend them something Rave Green to wear. I will be there with my wife, father-in-law, and 2 sons (3yrs and 5 mos).
Just talked to Sid. Five seats ordered, though he did say there is a backup in orders because they have been slammed since they announced the Barcelona game -- so it may take two or three weeks for the tickets to come. Gonna be a great time. Perhaps the Galaxy will have loosened up that unattractive, 10-behind-the-ball soccer by August. Not counting on it, but hopeful.
Sid just called to say that demand is so high that Galaxy FO is shifting us to a corner and we have to send the tix back in for replacements. I think the corner is better; we had been behind the goal and 10 rows of Galaxy fans. P.S. We got extra tickets in case anyone misses the deadline. BANNERS! DUCT TAPE!!
