fox is the worst news station in america. also the only reason its a pandemic is because there are some cases in different countries from vacations to mexico. its not even an epidemic but is still a pandemic.

also on the illegal immigration thing (not the swine flu part but just them crossing) i went to big bend and saw the border. In my opinion if they can get through cliffs mountains and desert without dyeing i think they deserve to be aloud to live and work here. i found it difficult camping there for a week with unlimeted water. imagine constantly walking for weeks in a desert without much at all.

I hate the media for the hype of something not that serious, and striking fear into people it's all about viewers after all, but it's pathetic..

This swine flu thing has gone way to far. I live right by Branham High School where a single case of swine flu is confirmed, and today I walk into my high school and we have a school wide rally about the dangers of contagious drinks. We aren't allowed to share drinks anymore...

Also don't get me started on Bill O'reilly and Sean Hannity.

If you haven't seen this before, it is a huge reason why i hate Fox News and Bill O'reilly.

now granted, i am so ultra conservative (or mega liberal democrat) that i make Fox News look like Liberals, but i can't stand them. Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and all the rest of the media outlets have agendas. oreilly's is a jackass who does republicans wrong, he is the bill mahr or michael moore of the GOP. on the other hand, i stopped watching the youtube clip as soon as i saw that the dude speaking was from "FAIR". needless to say it is not a fitting title for that organization. I could get the same sort of clip for any of the "24hr news" channels. i just don't have the time or the care to do such.

for the fox news hate, i think it is down to having a certain political stance. you gravitate to those who have similar views so you are never challenged. thats why Democrats hate fox and rush. and the same for MSNBC and NPR for Republicans.

sidenote: NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE. this whole swine flu shit is a perfect way for the government to promote nationalized health care. you have a virus that can be cured, so you hype it up as the black plague, let it cure itself, and report to the media that the Government solved the problem and have them sing the praises. now it is another positive talking point for nationalization! (case study: Banks, Auto, Credit Cards)

My calc final is in 50 minutes. I need a 77 on it to get the grade I need. I have a calculator that does everything for me, and for the non-calculator part, well, I've been told that I can do pretty much everything on there.

The only thing that keeps scaring me is that mine isn't a common final like most, and if my teacher freaking made it all free response, I'm going to be f**ked.

Ok, i'm almost 100% sure I just saw Skizz on TV. If anyone can cap it, around the 2:00 - 2:30 mark of second half stoppage time in the United v. Arsenal match. It has to be him. I was watching on ESPN2 in the US if that matters for coverage.

    I always miss you, Case.

It was interesting. It was all free response, which I was not expecting, and the no-calculator part was actually easier than the part where I could use a calculator. All in all, I needed to make a 72 to pass the class with a C... so hopefully it happened. I don't know when I get my grade back.

I took my psychology final today, and there's no possible way to get an A in the class (unless I aced the test, and there was a big curve), but I am sitting on a nice B unless I completely bombed the final.

And health... joke of a class. Got a 90 on the final, 95 in the class. Whee.

I have one more left, Thursday afternoon. Global Connections: International Conflict. Which should be interesting, since I hate history. :(

Choose your words wisely, and your "N words" wiselier.....

forget the penalty deabtes, red card debates, deplorable drogba/ballack actions that somehow didn't result in reds and lifetime bans, the thing I find most intriguing from the CL 2nite is Jamie Redknapp's post game rant about the refs background....

I spent a while transcribing it, so here goes:

"In Norway, how many big games will he ref....this game, the pace of it Graeme, at times they're struggling to keep up with it and making key decisions....why can't we we have the best Italian....we have to have the best officials from wherever it is, and by having a Norweigan, for me it just doesn't work, they're not used to refereeing at this level"....

Now, stereotyping based on nationality aka ethnicity aka race, in a derogatory way, how does this differ to comment made after another famous Cheatski CL flop, by Ron Atkinson? Should one result in professional persecution whilst the latter goes presumably un-punished?

    Discuss:

EDIT: Perry Groves has just thrown his own hat in this ring echoing Redknapp's loose tongued comment on youronskysports.....

I think the away leg is the new home leg I think, away goals mean so so so much nowadays, both semi 2nd legs have proved that this year!

Ps hit me with your best Arsenal jokes. So far I've had

What's the difference between Danielle Lloyd and Arsenal's fans?
Danielle Lloyd at least stays until the end of a f*cking

Why doesn't Danielle Lloyd f*ck Arsenal players?
Because they can't get past a semi.

Let's not get carried away Mr PC, but they're right. He was so far away from the action it's unreal. Hence why none of the penalty calls were given.

Ha was wondering when you'd see this.

A - I'm about as PC as an apple mac, only not used by arty losers

B - why quote the whole dang post

C - Those errors are made in almost every game in the prem, it's simply a stistical anomoly that so many happened in one game.

D - the main flaw was his bottle in making decisions, he repeatedly went for the path of least resistance - why not send Drogs off after he continued ranting after the yellow? Or Bollack when he tried to breath on him to death?

E - If you can't call Marcel Desailly a fuc.......

I hate the away goal rule honestly it makes the games boring and not as open..Make it most goals scored wins simple would have produced a lot more drama at the Bridge..
