There's no need for the big dick walk. If your opinion is that enlightening, people will listen to you. You might even get the occasional rep hah.
Artesian went from "what a bunch of feminized crap" to "thank you for calling me a maroon" in just a page and a half. Nice, the "rubber neck" of the week award goes to you. Also I love the "another addition to the ignore list" post. The idea that "I am ignoring you because you are intolerant of other opinions", wins the hypocrisy of the week award. I win the "nobody cares what I say award", but that's not news I win it every week. A budding rivalry with Chivas USA? Good lord, over that gritty, clunky game? Man, our standards for "budding rivalry" are low if that is the case. I like how Chivas work their play style into victory, and I give them full credit for doing so; but that game was so utterly unworthy of creating a "grudge". It was simply the better team defeating the inferior team. We'll get them next time, but I have no interest in pretending the goats are a rival.
I like what you have to say, Artesian. Maybe what you say isn't in most diplomatic terms, but I hope you continue to frequent our boards.
Awwwww. I sense candles and a white tablecloth in Artesian's and WestSeattle's future. May I recommend a fine Columbia Valley wine?
May I recommend a fine Columbia Valley wine? Wine? Are you mad son? Beer. Cheap stuff. Cold and frothy. Take that bourgeois "only the finest hops and microbrew" nonsense over to the bars that con people into paying 10 dollars a martini. You know where people drive subarus and pretend they like Sonic Youth. Goodness, the things I have to teach you kids. Someone must bear the burden I suppose.
The ignore list helps me to manage my thread reading. I want to read about the thread topic not some newbie douchebag channeling Dick Chenney. As far as intolerance I never said anything about tolerating stupidity (or anything else for that matter). Oh and I like Sonic Youth and have so for many years.
Sounders, Earthquakes renew 35-year old rivalry Saturday night at Qwest Field (Seattle Soccer Examiner) (PS: actual counting Heritage Cup matches are June 13 and August 2.)
Yeah, us North End types are always trying to save a buck. That's why we get the free stale popcorn and cardboard hotdogs. Seriously, if that "all inclusive" food is good 35 percent of the time, we are real lucky.
It beats paying six dollars an item for a slightly larger cardboard hotdog or stale popcorn. I do get sick of the nearly cold pretzels though.
