New system this week, it will require you to create an account. Many will be familiar with the look of it, it is the same type of system the Midnight Riders use to do their Man of the Match voting. In fact it was designed and created by the same person. So if you get a chance, send him and email or PM (pwykes) thanking him for the hard work he's done this past week setting this up.

Here is the link for the Player of the Game. It'll be this link throughout the season but I'll be creating threads after every game to remind everyone, as well as creating a blurb on the website.

That thing didn't work for me at all. I clicked on what looked like a button to create a user id and then it went to correct form. There was no place to click on to then enter the required information to register. It was all just gray words. Any ideas?

It didn't work for me on my home or work computer either Tim...

    Are you using AOL?

The alignment is way off as well...I can only read half of the page..

No, I'm on just on regular IE7. Yes, my alignment was way off too, but I could still understand what everything meant. Maybe thats why we couldn't register. The input boxes were way off to the right and our alignment was extremely skewed.

I'll see what I can do to address the issues. It's a little different set up for the Riptide sight so there could be some bugs to work out.

    Thanks.

This may be an issue we ran into with our CSS style sheet, I'm going to tinker with it when I get home.

Worked fine for me with Firefox but could see the issues with IE7. I tweaked the style sheet and I think it's working better now. If you're still having problems, please let me know.

    Thanks!

I also changed the style sheet on the page because we did have issues before hand with that style sheet and some of the forms.

I've tried using my work computer via AOL and IE7 and my home laptop using AOL and IE8. I still cannot vote. It allows me to login and says REVS FAN 1 is logged it, then as soon as I click on Vote for Player it goes back to the login screen.

I've cleared my cache and cookies on both as well..

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Jackie, how has the voting this week compared to last week numbers wise? I fear that people might be turned off from jumping through hoops trying to get AOL to work and just not bother...

It's strange because I can vote easily for the Midnight Riders POTY from both computers???

I also kept getting the login prompt using IE 8. I just entered my credentials each time, and it eventually let me vote.

That's odd, it was there right after I voted, and I think I let it show my vote so it should still be there.

Sorry about the continued problems. The site is handled slightly different than the Revs man of the match (for tech geeks, it uses an iframe), which could be causing the problems. If you still have problems via the Riptide site, please try going directly to riptide.tinpm.com and trying it from there and let me know if that works better.

Also, as I don't check this forum often, please PM me if you have problems (though I'll be on vacation starting Friday so I might not respond immediately).

    Thank you.
