of course...all saudi league cups are going hand in hand with ittihad, shabab and hilal only...other teams just playing for pride...you can see the saudi league itself...last 8 editions no other teams have won it accept hilal ittihad and shabab..about hazm and ahli we cant say any thing about them both teams some time play like ..........

Shabab are off their game so Wehda might snatch a result if we kamekazi them.

Phoenix, You just need to win 3-0 in the second leg ;)

    ---

Why so much hate for this tournament in the forum? It needs some tweaking, but it's a natural progression from the old system of the golden square. You now have separate regular league and playoff championship. It keeps it interesting for the other teams in the league.

AFC Champions League Qualification is enough to keep the other teams in the league interesting and this tournament simply puts more fatigue on the players when we need them for AFC Champs League matches.

That and it's a pathetic tournament where nearly 65% of the teams in the league qualify to. It's just silly.

LOL Al-Ahli just got knocked out by Al-Hazm on away goals! (even though they had a man sent off at '48). Did anyone watch this?

Now Ittihad's path is clear to the final.

i was watching the game for a while....ahli is really missing some players like malek and hussain .....there performance is down after they won crown prince and prince faisal cup two years back approx....
waleed jizani was superb for hazm ..
ittihad in 1 more final {hopefully} with another riyadh team...
tommorow shabab will be again in crushing mood for wehda.....

    Shabab 2 - 1 Al Wehda

    Yousef Salam 19' 41' Ahmed Mousa 88'

Let's look at the half time stats:

    Shots: 5 - 1
    Possession: 57% 42%

    Now Second half stats:

    Shots 1 - 5
    Possession: 52% 48%

Ahmed Al Mousa was benched for the first half for some odd reason. That alone convinces me that Buker is a shit coach.Mousa switched the game around.

Kamel Al-Mousa hit the post in the final minute of the game. so it could have been 2-2 :(
