I just came home from the stadium. It was awesome although I'm all sunburned. Still Pumas played really good for a while. I got in late and missed Dulio's goal. The rest of the 1st half I saw was all Pumas. Stil even after this, Pumas had most of the control but wasn't producing much danger. Dante Lopez looked weak (and would look weak all game). Still a fumble by Villalpando and Pumas tied with Martin Bravo. Pumas could have taken the lead and it looked as if they would win easily. Still in the 2nd half, we couldn't do shit and Puebla took charge of the game. They were dominating and Pumas had a couple of mistakes. We got the biggest lucky break when Bola Gonzalez had a shot and the ball hit the post and bounced to the other post and went out. Puebla was dominating but then Perez got a 2nd yellow card (in the stadium it looked like a clear foul but I heard on the radio that it wasn't) and then it shifted to Pumas. Still Puebla bunkered and Pumas couldn't break thru and it looked that way until Barrera hit a ball that deflected in. That was pretty great. Then of a counter Palencia scored the 3rd eventhough because of the fact it was in the other side, I thought it was Martin Bravo who scored. 3-1. Pumas is playing really good and is set to go to the league. It really pisses me off that we didn't give a chance to the CONCACAF tournament because the way we are playing, I have no doubt we would have won the competition with our good team. Still Pumas looks good and set to go to the liguilla although I'm not sure if it's good enough to go thru Pachuca or Toluca right now. Still anything is possible and we are not that far from it.

Note: It's really sad that Cacho hasn't look anything close to his old level or we would have a great offensive force. Right now I think we are struggling at the attack with only Bravo doing well and Iñiguez and Lopez doing just alright. I also really hope Barrera finally wakes up.

LOL at the Puebla fans talking about "saluden a papa".

Yeah all those years of dominating by Puebla have been tough . Maybe they were talking about Pumas Morelos in Primera A.

I like the fact that Bravo has woken up. He is a poacher, and a damn good one. But the guy who has impressed me so far this year is Cachas. He never quits. He'll make a bad play, everybody does, but he forgets it immediately and just gets back up on the horse. He plays with a ton of passion. If only our seleccionados would play with the same energy and determination.

I also love Chelis for the same reason. Any guy that can get that team to play the way they do is doing a fantastic job.
