Seattle/KC game: MLSnet problem viewing it?

same problem here man, the other games worked fine, but this is the one I wanted to see. I dont know what the deal is.

Agreed, I was pretty upset being a Sounders fan who lives in Arizona. Maybe the MLS let KIRO stream the audio because it was a sellout. The video link on the website has been taken down though

 

Awesome, they took down the video links entirely.

 

Direct TV finally got the game up, with no sound until well into the second half.

Gotta do better MLS.

Game was on from start to finish with full sound and video on Cox Cable.

Doesn't sound like and MLS problem. Sounds like a problem with DirectTV and the MLB yahoos that do the streaming for MLS

 

Ref didn't get the stream either.

Don't blame Seattle for getting all of the calls after this one.

 

KCW blog this morning says that the league finally told them the issue had to do with the fact that the only broadcast of the game was in HD and mlsnet doesn't support HD.

I personally think that is hog wash-

One of the reasons given in previous seasons for why HDNet broadcasts were not available AT ALL on non-exclusive games was that the MLB/MLS streaming format could not handle HD streams

 

I was extremely upset when I went on to watch Seattle's game and realized I had another option, Justin.tv has almost any match on the planet available. I even got to watch a lot of Argentina vs Bolivia when that game was PPV on most American channels. So when you are having MLSNET troubles and want to catch a game go to justin.tv and more than likely there will be a channel running the MLS game.

 

Dish network had the entire game.

 

For whatever reason, Matchcenter gets the feeds from DirecTV instead of the actual source that goes out to iN DEMAND.
