Will San José win its second consecutive California Clasico game?

Will Los Angeles avenge losing Alexi Lalas and Ruud Gullit?

The Earthquakes handing Bruce Arena his first Clasico loss? The Galaxy winning its first game in the series since the pre-Huckerby era?

I'll bet they will get at least 20,000 fans for this even without Beckham.........

No Alan Gordon for the Galaxy next week. He gets sent off with two yellow cards in 3 minutes in tonight's game against Chivas.

Not sure if this is a good thing...

Edit: No Greg Berhalter either...straight red.

Losing Gordon for the game is a negative for the Quakes...he sucks.

Berhalter will be a loss for them. I guess we'll see Sanneh instead?

BTW, that was the butt ugliest game I've watched in a long time.

You do realize that this probably means that Kirovski will start, right?

Berhalter red is great. He's much better than Sanneh. And probably faster.

Gordon red is meh. Jordan and Magee are more dangerous, but then again they are behind Gordon on the depth chart.

I think it'll be interesting without Salinas. Makes room for a different sub, as so far we've seen the same rotation of players. Maybe we'll have a chance to see McDonald, Zaher, Somma, or Roberts. It would be pretty fun to give McDonald his first minutes as a Quake against LA.

We better win this game. Hopefully the new 3-goal-per-home-game offense has a good time vs LA. Sucks that Ricketts is healthy now though. He's way better than Saunders.

I'm sorry to say it but we aren't the masters of our own destiny. The outcome of this game will be decided by which officials MLS appoints for the galaxy, er..the game. That aside, anything else but a win by us will be totally unacceptable. They are without Buddle, Gordon and Berhalter, with three starters missing we should press our advantage and take the 3 points from the filth.

Quincy is ready to play. He said he was about to be subbed in when Shea got sent off, so they didn't bring him in. But he is good to go.

If we get Michael Kennedy (favors LA) or Abbey (favors LA and hates us) that will be bad. Everyone else with any experience at all, should be okay.

I don't see much to see a favoritism towards LA.

Not the level of fixing the games. So, what you've shown is meaningless. I'm sticking with my impressions from a decade of watching it.

Does MLS have an appeals process for red cards? Can the Quakes appeal Shae's suspension?

If it's like it is everywhere else in the world, a two-yellow red card is unappealable.

I might be wrong but I'm sure that it's the opposite, a two-yellow red card isn't appealable but a straight red is in England.

Regardless of what you think of their biases, I think we can all agree that we dont want either of those hacks. They are among the worst of the bad lot of MLS refs.

I'm afraid that this is irrelevant. Cards are almost never overturned and MLS and USSF especially are loathe to admit to mistakes, no matter how obvious or egregious. We will be without Shea and that's just tough.

    Thank you!

Yeah, our refs blow chunks, no doubt about it. We have to do something about that.

    And if I might add:

El-Lay can kiss my smurfy blue butt!

    GOOOOOO QUAAAAAAAAKES!!!!!!!!!! :D
