Only one point behind AV right now, this would be an awesome win.

i have a bad feeling about this game...aston villa is a good team and they have been on a downward spiral..could be a comeback game for them

i was thinking of going to AV tomorrow, but i think my grandma would die worrying! it's a long trip and i don't have a ticket yet for train or match. would be fun though... She asked my uncle if i can watch on sky (only one tv has it in the house) so I will stay and keep her happy.

I'm going to get to london next week some way some how. even if i'm in the manc end. i don't care at this point. I'll regret it for a very long time if i don't!

we win this, I think AV is done. if we don't... might make them more confident, who knows.... hope we win!

Hey if we get a draw we tie Vil..wait damn we're playing Villa. Well in that case we'll win. There is a chance they make a comeback from their slump, but I have a feeling our confidence is going to high coming into the match. I'm going to say 3-1 with goals by Cahill, Jo, and Peanut.

I lost my connection but AV gets one back, 2-1 at the half.

Everton is doing well at taking this game to them, Pienaar makes it 3-1 in the 54th minute. Just need to be a little more careful defending some of their players, too many fouls in the defensive third.

it's got to be said, it's a great game for the neutral. Really shows what an epl game should be :)

Great strike by Milner for the fk.

Milner and Ashley Young weren't tucking in enough when your lot have the ball. Saha on.

I thought the PK call was questionable, but to be fair Cahill's push on his goal was pretty blatant. It didn't take me too long to get sick of watching Ashley Young. He's a good player, but how many times can you jump to the ground when you aren't fouled? Stay on your damn feet.

I guess a point is ok @Villa, we have a good shot to finish 5th. Hope to see a good crowd next week at Mr. D's.

Well he did kick the guy in the head, kind of hard not to call that a PK in the box. I don't think it was deliberate but still. The defense was giving AV too many free kick chances in the defensive third.

The most frustrating thing about the penalty, was why give it for the most borderline foul of the lot? Ashley Young had a fair few genuine shouts for a pen, why didn't Webb give it them then. Was a cracking game to watch, can't believe we let them back into it though. We were lucky to hold onto a point at the arse end of that game.

i watched it at the local by my grandmas here in Bebington and it (luckily) was a blue bar. really full for a large place. didn't talk to people much - the shyness kicked in. then I was too annoyed at the end at blowing a 2-0 lead and a dodgy pen and a.young flopping like a soggy salad or something. bleck.

ah well... we'll see what happens next. I keep saying it everywhere but I'm looking for semi final ticket(s) Rocket and I are going to try and meet up and go to the game next weekend. :) fingers crossed!!!

I'm not sure he made much contact but I thought it was simply for high foot. You can get away with that a lot more in the EPL than the continent but when you almost take a guy's head off they start to frown on it :D
