    Pacheco no debutará mañana

Uh, Jeff Agoos is Jewish. Not that I'm a big fan of his, but why should a Jew give two s**ts about Easter?

    Ha!

Funny... although, you know, as the technical director of an MLS team, who's supposedly trying to bring in players quickly because we're already 3 games into the season, he should, oh, I don't know, be slightly aware of when other country's governments are having massive holidays or something...

By that logic, what about JCO?

Whatever Agoos is, why isn't he aware that today is a work holiday for some? And that it might delay the new guy getting his "papers"?

Anyway, most gentiles know when Passover is; how can Agoos be oblivious to Easter when it's so commercialized like the rest of the Christian holidays?

That's crap. This whole idea that they waited until Easter to ask for the damn card is also crap. I don't suppose that the dependancies on visas or contracts had ANYTHING to do with when we could ask for this stupid card, right?

Look, Easter happened. It's pretty lame to be stretching for excuses like this to slam the coaching staff. Perhaps we can also blame them for not stoping the romans from killing jesus in the first place instead of waiting a few months when it wouldn't impact the begining of the MLS season.

Please read my Blame Osorio and Agoos for the Romans argument. It's makes about as much sense as this does.

BTW - Can anyone here assure me that some idiot in the ES Futbol Association didn't delay this on purpose because we, the US, stole 2 points away from them? This is my pet conspiracy theory, and as likely as Agoos and Osorio waiting for Easter to get this paperwork.

Look, I don't mind slamming Agoos and Osorio when it makes sense, like for signing Cichero and Pietravallo. But this whole "blame them for the fact ES takes Friday off on Easter" is silly. Seriously.

^ Pure apologist BS. He should care about doing his job.

Earth to Agoos wake the f--k up and do your job. Anticipate any and all paperwork dot the Is and cross the Ts, unlike one who would like to come up with jew/gentile BS, some know there is a certain level of competence to a job and you Agoos have failed in this, regardless of holiday, and a few other instances.

Fans have a right to competence in a professional teams front office, and this whole episode with the international signings isn't it. How difficult is it for the general manager of a pro sports team reliant on foreign players to develop a working relationship with an immigration lawyer and anticipate some of this stuff. Every year this occurs with all non resident/citizens signed by this team which shows something must be wrong in how management approaches and follows through with these signings. This isn't and hasn't been a one time occurrence.

They sign Pacheco one month ago, why the Foock wait so long to call this people and ask for the freaking card until now, this people take the whole week as a holiday for this time of the year, in Honduras they took 11 day holidays for this days because the President order to start this on Thursday the 2nd after the Honduras MNT win to Mexico MNT wednesday night, so they start the holidays from Thursday the 2nd trough Sunday 11, that is the way they make business over there...

    Fu*cking Idiots....(Agoos & osorio)

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You are assuming that they waited to call about this card until yesterday. Because, of course, the card is just sitting on a desk waiting to be sent over to Agoos as soon as he calls.

Guys, sometimes you see shit that just AINT THERE.

I'm not apologist, I'm just not a freaking sheep to join the lynch mob irrationally.

And sometimes you're being contrary just to be contrary ;)

I rarely agree with Metz, but I'm with him to some degree on this one.

We are THREE games into the season, and our three main signings aren't established on the team yet? (Johnson played in the 3rd game as a sub, yes).

That's bad planning, bad negotiating, say what you will - it's bad generally. They should have been on the team by the middle of pre-season, at the latest.

The point of the Easter thing is that from ALL reports (red bulls, journalists, etc)...they were all psyched and ready for those final papers to come in...until someone suddenly told them that, hey, in a big Catholic nation everyone generally take off Weds, Thurs, AND Friday for Easter.

Agoos should, yes, know about stuff like this and be planning accordingly. He should be FULLY aware of when the governments are going to be open or closed.

    That ain't hard.

This @#^@*&^8 happens to RBNY an awful lot under Agoos. Does this happen to other teams as well?

If you do the signings and paperwork early enough then these kinds of things won't make a difference.

The end result is the end result; competent management insures that all the Ts are crossed and the Is dotted in time for the start of the season. If JCO and Agoos had a history of smooth personnel management and this cropped up then fine, but there's absolutely no evidence that this isn't just another screwup on their part.

Of course once the players get on the field this issue will fade into the background. But each game is important.

    Wait....Wait...Wait....

The experience with our Honchos make us skeptics as hell and we have enough reasons to be...They act like a clam, don't want to participate anything with us, so, let the Mother Fuc*kers get it....

EL Diario de Hoy from El salvador actually says the contract has not been signed by the red bulls as far as loan agreements. FAS still havent recieved the $30,000 and that they are aware that ITC is needed but wont release it til the Red Bulls sign the contract formally and pay of the $30000. Red Bulls has sent two contracts over to FAS each one is different and each a different version. Im thinking Pacheco will end up leaving back to FAS. I got hit hard when I said this was Jeff Agoos fault but I still stand by it. "Visa Issues" are over which every new player had I wonder if the government has something something against the Red Bulls. Dont Blame the Coach!!

I don't think the P1 Visa would have been granted if the contact was not signed.

Edit: Never mind, it's talking about the loan contract, not Pacheco's. My fault.

We are talking here about the premises of transfer from one League to anther, the League don't give the C1 because the old Pacheco team Faz of the El Salvador don't give the OK, because they say, that they hasn't been payed the accorded sum of money and have not signed a contract with RB for that transaction either...

    And the Red Bulls' rebuttal.

It would not surprise me if FAS really was dicking around on this. (Of course it also would not surprise me if someone in the MLS or RBNY offices screwed up too.)

Apparently, Red Bull has had a completed, signed contract and has been waiting for FAS since March 1. This is being reported by both Ives and Brian Lewis. According to both of them, they've been waiting the for this ITC card SINCE BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON.

But no, it's not FAS screwing us that you guys are pissed about. You decide that it's all Agoos and Osorio.

That smells like DC supporters in disguise!
