OK lets try this again as last week we had the game then decided to coast or whatever and BLEW IT!

I got a little riding on this game as my sports AD at the school I coach at is a west ham fan so little bet for shits and giggles.

NO Palacios after that horrible bs crap 2nd yellow card but I hear Hutton might be available which is good news.

No prediction because last time I did we lost so I just hope we play good, rebound well after that last fixture and kick ass at WHL!

    COME ON YOU SPURS!

If Hutton is available does anyone else see Corluka appearing at either CB or DM?

No. King and Woodie are fit. They will be the central pairing flanked by Corluka and BAE. Even if King or Woodie is injured, Dawson will come in.

So even if Hutton is fit you think Corluka is the choice RB?

Hutton has been out for a long time and I mean he may be match fit but I don't think he is ready to get out there and start a game. Corluka has been sensational so I mean leave him. I would love to see Corluka in the middle that would be awesome. Maybe Hudds will get a start.

Yeah, I wonder how a Hudds/Palacios pairing would do. Maybe we'll find out one day.

Yes. Hutton is more of an attacking fullback. While he attacks, Lennon would probably need to restrain himself abit more as he will need to cover Hutton when he overlaps. I would like to see Hutton thrown on if we need a goal.

    RB
    Corluka - Hutton - Chims

Isn't palacios gone for a game? So I mean we would have to play Hudds or O hara. I would rather Hudds.

I guess it doesn't need mentioning (though I am right now) that a win will put us within 3 points of 7th.

    7. West Ham 44 (@ Tottenham)
    8. Wigan 41 (Arsenal)
    9. Fulham 40 (@ Man Citeh)
    10. Man Citeh 38 (Fulham)
    11. Tottenham 38 (West Ham)

Hoping for a Citeh/Fulham draw tomorrow.

Zokora will surely come in for Palacios. Other than that I see an unchanged side. Although if Pav is fit I'd like to see him instead of Bent.

Shout out to YiddoInAkron, he's at the Lane today on his PSG tour. Give us a wave!

Signing out now, watching the tape delay later. COYS!!!

Extremely lacklustre first half. Not a fan of singling out particular players when no one's playing well but Darren Bent has done nothing except miss a header from 6 yards out, so wouldn't mind Pav getting on at half time.

Anyone else watchin the Yes stream? It's not quite Kieron Richardson's uncle from the Sunderland game, but the colour commentator is doing a lot of fawning over a West Ham side who aren't doing much.

We should have won it by 2-0...finally we are safe now and still on course for 7th place.

Bent days are really numbered with his 'I can only score but if I don't, I'm useless' performance again...

i dont agree with this..i think spurs controlled the first half and passed the ball well it was just that final ball was lacking..bent is useless and pav should start over him and keane's first touch today was surprisingly poor..west ham are stingy team with some descent players..that guy boa mote should have been sent off as he commited alot of fouls that should have recieved yellows..

I was delighted to see Pav come on, although in fairness to Bent West Ham were defensively setup to stop him and Keane by limiting any space in behind. Every time we came forward they dropped deep and had 8 players in the box, letting us cross it in as they knew they would would win it in the air against those two. Pav is a lot stronger in those tight situations with his strength and control and it showed. Against teams that push up Bent will still have a role to play this season, as Pav is still just not quick enough to take advantage.

Overall a good and deserved win. West Ham were strong tactically but we had a much better set of players and that told. Still looking very good for 7th given our form and our pretty reasonable run-in compared to the Spammers.

Newcastle at home next, need to batter them for once and I think we will do it. They have an undeserved and lucky record against us in the last few years but I think Bent Harry will change that.

ManYoo away afterwards is what I'm really looking forward to. Feel we have a great chance of turning them over and hopefully we get past the Newcastle game without any injuries or suspensions.

Great win for us, only three points behind west ham now, Nice to keep a clean sheet. Though the preformance in the first half wasn't great.

just got through watching the delayed showing on setanta.

would've prefered the second goal, of course, but i thought we stroked it around quite nicely after having gone up. really a pleasure watching that. and as much as i like palacios and what he brings us, i have to admit, we probably wouldn't have been as smooth through the middle had he been in. i was really worried that we'd miss him badly, but we killed it off with posession.

i'll miss hudd when he's gone, and i'm afraid he will be. lennon just keeps looking stronger and stronger. i'd be surprised if some offers don't come in for him, as well, despite the new contract. geez, i hope we can keep him and modric. not looking forward to the rumor mill this summer.
