By Redskins fans. They hate DC United more than we do. I'm still with CSRN, but I've also joined MLS Talk. www.majorleaguesoccertalk.com Now I had to write this article on the DC United stadium situation and I had to make it sound like it makes sense, but check out this comment from a Redskins fan who calles himself "Go Hogs" Now you can read the rest of the comment from this guy & even though I don't agree with what he said about the "True Americans" part, the main point of the argument is about DC United.
I can't understand why people have to be like that, I don't take joy in watching any team, business, a Org or a Country struggle, on the contrary, I wish them well, of course I wish us better, I want us to be CHAMPS year after year....

I lived in N.VA during the days of NASL and the Diplomats. I worked with Redskin fans. (I even had lunch with them! ) They were as varied, beer-gutted, goggle eyed, dorky, paunchy, bad-mannered and rank-breathed as any group of True Americans you could find in any stadium in the country. And that was just the women!
dont like the "True American" part, how come everyone has been mentioning it lately. I dont know if you have noticed, but some telecasts on ESPN have been throwing that around rather often lately....

The sad thing is, my buddy who is a hardcore Redskins fan i think deep down inside feels the same way, but in his head thinks its 'latin america' central and tries to avoid too many hispanics in one location lol. Some people will never change their mentality, sadly.
Um, well; yes. The sad thing is that an NFL fan of that mindset in any city will say much the same about soccer fans in general.
Maybe because they are REDSKINS fans they think they are Native American blood?? LOL I am skins fan, but iam a soccer fan #1(DC, Bolivar, Boca Juniors, Real Madrid)and redskins fan #2.
