This is probably wrong the forum . . . in fact I know this is the wrong forum but before I get carded, I was wondering if someone could help me on finding dimensions/measurements on how to create the wooden portion of the Sapo game. I`ve spoken to many mexicans here in mexico and they love the idea, which is strange since I know that there is a mexican version of it (but it`s probably in D.F. or something) but they haven`t heard of it here in Aguascalientes.

Dude, this game is sick!! I started playing it after college and got hooked. As far as the rules go, you throw those 10 coins and see how many points you can make. Making it in the frog´s mouth is of course the highest score possible. Depending on the game, everyone decides to what score they play to or how many rounds.

A friend of mine just sent me this link.

You can order one to send to your home using this site.

It doesn´t help me though as I´m trying to build one because it`ll be cheaper.

It's a good thing I'm an old fart who remembers my dad and uncles playing this.

Man, you talk about some memories. Usually it was all the cussing after about a half bottle of Singani. :D

My dad built one LONG time ago. I'll check in his basement. Unfortunately, he would often just get things done not caring about instructions or dimensions.... as long as it worked. Soooo, the dimensions may be wrong. LOL!

Did you ever find out the measurements? If so, could you share them with me; I am trying to make the thing on the basis of pics at www.sapomiami.com but it's quite complicated without the measurements; tx!!

My Dad said he got the measurements but he never sent it to me so I decided to introduce the game of Beer Pong to my fellow mexicans and they loved it. Let me ask him. As soon as he sends it, I´ll post it.

Is there anyone interested in purchasing a complete set of the game SAPO?
I found two complete sets while clearing my Father’s house; we came to the USA in 1954.
If there is an interest email me at lt8brekr@gmail.com and I can send you pictures.
    Regards
