LOL. Nice try Argentine. When I said that the Mexican Primera was on par to the German Bundesliga, I said that it was on par to the league minus Bayern Munich, this can be seen from the original post, except naughty you made a change.
Also please dont tell me that you DO NOT believe that the league is good, is developing, and is ranked 7th or 8th best in the World, because for your information everything that I stated about the league is spot on.
The IFFHS have it ranked this high, and World Soccer magazine and FIFA magazine have continuisly backed them up on this, as too does anybody else who has a strong knowledge of the global game and actually watches it.

I'm going to have to seriously disagree. Werder, Stuttgart, Schalke and Neverkusen will whipe the floor with most Mexican teams while Dortmund, Hertha, Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim will take care of the leftovers...

Rankings aside, I don't buy Mexico's league being near the quality of the Bundesliga - Bayern or no Bayern.

Yeah, I'm sure Club American or Chivas or for that matter any mexican club can compete with Hoffenheim, Dortmund, Schalke 04, Hertha BSC, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg...etc..etc..etc. STOP MAKING YOURSELF LOOK RIDICLOUS.. Plus or minus bayern Munchen!!! FFS

LOL. Me making myself look ridicuolus??? You should take a look back at all your posts here and see the fool you have made of yourself with the constant insults, lies, and lack of knowledge etc, and ontop of that how I have exposed you. Nobody takes you seriously around here, because you are nothing more than a teenage brat, who's parents need to give a big bollocking too.

Post one??? They are scattered all over the place in which you are either insulting me, Manolo etc, and even Santiago has made reference to this, as being a problem of yours, this a few posts back. Combine your insults with your constant feuding (vs me, manolo, b4d... etc), your lies (played, sat, drank with Ecuador players for over twenty five years), your poor knowledge (Jewell better than Bruce, manager doing barely anything prior to a match, coaching staff having no influence of ever helping improve Valencia etc), and many other faults, and at the end of the day it is only you who is looking ridicuolus.

With regards to Crimerz, I respect his opinion, but I would rather go on what I see for myself, what the rankings indicate, what FIFA and World Soccer say, this as well as what other experts say. Plus at least Crimerz doesnt insult me when he disagrees with something that I may say, unlike you.

Please show me were the rankings, whatever rankings you are referring to, FIFA and World Soccer, whatever that means, put the Mexican league on par with the Bundesliga. I can't argue with your own opinion but I would like to see how these other institutuions (FIFA) back up your claim.

This debate should move to the off topic thread since we are no longer discussing Wigan!

WTF??? Nobody was right at the end of the day, because Caicedo, Guerron etc are still playing football and have plenty of years ahead of them. You are taliking is if its all over for them and that they have failed. Also it was you who insulted me first here at BigSoccer, in which when I questioned your interest and passion for Ecuador (like practically everyone else here), you told me to shut the f*uck up, said that you hate a*ssholes like me, and it was also that post that you mentioned the infamous parents Ecuador trip. And finally I think its rather clear that I have never visited Ecuador, but it also looks very likely that you may be in the same boat as me. Plus what exactly does me not having been to Ecuador got to do with anything anyways???

Nobody was right?? they have failed and when it mattered the most against Brasil and Paraguay..Ecuador might not recover from this fiasco.. and yes, I was right about both players months ago.. That's the difference. Now everyone saw what happened and everyone is on the same page..We are not talking about what Felipe or Guerron can do 4 years from Now.. we are talking about today!!

First it was you that came out and said it's apparent that I hate Ecuadorians.. and its also apparent to everyone here, that i've been to Ecuador..Now run along and entertain with your post..

Just for shits and giggles, I looked up our friend Argentine Futbol's posting history. The following classic is from January 27, 2004 on a thread called "For Brazilians Only", which is the obvious place you would find a guy like Argentine Futbol writing his drivel:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So basically, this stuff has been going on for years. A quick sampling of the history shows that he's been on other countries' message boards spouting insults and profanities, and generally raising the ire of Big Soccer posters worldwide. I would say I don't care, because caring about something signifies that it actually has some importance, so I would be lying if I said I didn't care about him posting here. So I'll say the truth - I DO care, it's annoying and frustrating to have a poster on here whose sole purpose is to play the antagonist. This is, after all, the ECUADOR board, which is a board for ECUADOR FANS, and to support ECUADOR PLAYERS, and to cheer ECUADOR TEAMS. Since very recently, since this guy discovered this board (and I've been here over 10 years), we can barely write anything on here supporting a particular player or team without being immediately attacked and then the thread gets totally sidetracked and devolves into the equivalent of a chimpanzee shit-throwing match.

Now I know what he will say - how he's been so smart and so right about everything, and we have all been so wrong the whole time. But he's making totally false arguments by putting words into people's mouths and taking things totally out of context, and even asking totally irrelevant questions to obfuscate the matter ("Have you ever been to Ecuador?", which has nothing to do with anybody's knowledge of soccer). It's a total onslaught of straw man arguments, red herrings, and pretty much every other logical fallacy they teach you to avoid in college.

So as far as I'm concerned, keep posting my friend. But don't expect anybody to let up on calling you out on your childish, ignorant behavior and apparent dislike for Ecuador's teams, players, and possibly even its people.

Well said Manolo, and its all the 100% truth.

It really amazes me how this guy (Argentine) has lasted so long at bigsoccer with his overload of insults etc. He is in serious need of some strong discipline, that unfortunately his parents have seemingly lacked in providing.
On a more brighter note for the Ecuador forum however, is that Ecuadorian board member DamnEcuadorian has been promoted to the role of moderator. A moderator is just what this place needed, and Argentine should now be kept in check.

Let's now hope for a more pleasant forum, where we can actually discuss football like grown men, and without being jumped on by a particular individual and his nasty insults, which has been the cause of feuds galore.

Wigan needs a striker. We haven't had a true striker since Heskey left and Zaki disappeared.

And another disappointing note for today.. even with a 4-0 lead Castillo still didn't come off the bench.
