If memory serves me right, i think i remember Feno talking about a gameday thread or could of just been my idea. Not sure. But i think it's a good idea. I've seen it in numerous sub-forums on BS, and i think it's brilliant.

    RULES
    1. Posts must be about the Game, either before the game, during and post.
    2. Must be in Blue.

That's about it, let's post everything during the Game vs Costa Rica in here, and so on.

VAMOS SALVADOREÑOS QUE MAÑANA SE TIENE QUE GANAR!

www.ElSalvador.com has this as the probable line-up.

This is what we get for playing to defensive, we should of hit first & we had the chance with Cerveza's header on the post...Lack of concentration on the back side, Alas failed to cover his guy & once again a header that led to CR's goal, thats sums to 3 goals via the same way :(... Cant blame Montes he had a great game...

Again DLC was holding to long on the subs, what is Alegria going to do the last 8 minutes of the game, He messed up by taking Monteagudo out, he was having a great game...after the subs he made we completely lost the midfield, Sanchez was staying way behind, Julio was on his own and on the left side which is our strongest side ended up being our weakest when Cerveza came out...No MIDFIELD WHAT SO EVER :(

The line up should of ended looking like this

    ---------Zelaya-----------------
    -------------------Alegria--------
    ---------------------------------
    Cerveza--Sanchez---Romero--Julio
    ----------------------------------
    Pachecho--Marvin--Mardo--Salazar

Im glad that we may finally find the bench we are looking for...Monteagudo, Julio & Alas are great additions to this team...we just need more preperation...Theres no need for Umanzor, Miranda & Jimenez anymore.... they can give the spots to the guys I mentioned...

Personally, i still don't see Alas as a national team player. To me he's an average player at best. His best feature is his ability to shot from long range, but overall i think there are plenty of better options in our league. For example there's Menjivar; who although took almost 2 years off has come back and seems to be playing well. He's tall, has about the same amount of speed as Alas and his overall defensive/offensive game is much better IMO. In saying that, i think it's a little early to call him back, but i think that he alongside Sanchez would give us a great CM.

I agree Monteagudo and Martinez are good players. Although i think both can still do a lot better, i do think they are handy players to have in the side. As for Umanzor, well i don't really think he's capable of lifting and playing at the level we need, but again, it's good that he's there as it adds depth. Same can be said for Jimenez, although i think he does make a few to many mistakes to be a reliable backup/supporter at CM. Finally, as for Miranda, well i've never been much of a fan, and i think he's failed to prove he has what it takes to add anything good to the side. Although again, i wouldn't mind him getting 2-3 more games to prove himself before disregarding him completely.

I think Martinez is our new great up-and coming player, he did well vs. USA & CR. I remeber him now, he was a starting forward vs. Ecuador at ecuador in 07. He looked fraile and lanky then, now he looks stronger , and I like the way he drives with dribbling. BTW what happeaned to Salvador COrreas ??
