Liga played a terrible game....nobody played well except for Dominguez..he was powerless to fight off Colo Colo for the whole match. the team needs immediate fixing.

Re: Liga de Quito - All news and everything related too

I back you up 100% on that...Dominguez was awesome, but Liga REALLY let me down today with that performance, it was just HORRIBLE!! Especially our defense. Calle did not complete the job that Norberto Araujo always does in the center of our Defense. Ambrossi was off on his passing. We can't ALWAYS depend on Manso to do everything. It wasn't like that before and it shouldn't be like that now. Liga needs to get up, wake up, and get back to performing at their BEST.

I still think LIGA (Rodrigo Paz/Esteban Paz) did not do the best they could to buy players like Jefferson Montero, Joao Rojas, and Fernando Guerrero who would have made a major change for our attack. Instead they thought it was smart to buy players like Leon and Chila who have not seen the light of day in LIGA, NOTTTT EVENNN the damn BENCH!!! After all the money Liga made from PACKED stadiums since the round of 16 in Libertadores 2008 added to the couple other packed games from the Liguilla. Oh yeah and I'm not sure, somebody can correct me, but didn't LIGA also recieve a great amount of money for being Libertadores champs and being 2nd place in the World Cup of Clubs?? Wheres all that money? invested on Leon and Chila? it's so frustrating...now we're paying the consequences. If Guerron, Bolanos, and Vera left...Leon and Chila certainly ARE NOT the remedy for replacing them.

This was another strange game, similar to the 2-0 in Recife. The score made it look much worse than it was - Liga was attacking and dangerous throughout the game, then they went brain-dead for a few minutes. This is concerning, and Fossatti needs to work on this because there is clearly some leadership missing when a team panics and falls apart like they did last night. Unfortunately for Liga, it's goals and points that count and they are now forced to pull off some very convincing wins at home, and try to get a point against Palmeiras to have any chance of going through.

LDU Goalkeeper was awful. He could have came out on the first goal but it wouldn't have made a difference. On the second goal..well what's the first thing they teach you as a goalie in respect to your nearest post or primer palo?? Never ever get beat on your post..NEVER..what happens? he get beat on his post and did the third goal go through his legs??? No way, Cevallos makes these rookie mistakes..He did make some good save but most of them were kick directly to him especially one that almost took his head off. Yo can tell he hasn't played recently..A definite goalie for the future.. Liga had an awful first half. I don't think they had one shot on goal. Colo Colo completely had their way.. In the second, Liga started to control the ball but Colo Colo suckered them into pushing up their lines, as soon as they did that, 3 goals in ten minutes.. Liga right now has -4 in GD. They need 9 points. Hopefully Sport recife beats palmerias..

amazing how a player missing can make a diffrence in the team...the defence was lost form the start..bieler didnt have any shots on goal cuz manso was getting hit by all sides like always, fossati should try edgar vaca con manso so if everybody is attacking manso vaca would be available...i like how dida played hes not up to that level yet but to me is better than cevallos all he needs more playing time...two home games left one on the road theres still hope...Liga te kiero cuando ganas pero te amo cuando pierdes esa es la diferencia!!!

Ya, Dida will be a great keeper in the future but how can you get rid of a Cevallos? We are just going to have to wait until he retires. I think Fossati planted the team wrong..Eventhough the first half was awful, they held the tie. He should have planted a defensive tactic. He must of watched the Colo-Palmerias game. I'm still waiting for Larrea and chango to take over.

Yeah, im pretty sure Salas will start soon now that the he's recovered. It's amazing how such a great promise/hype like Salas was 5-6 years back seemed to die little by little b/c of these stupid injuries he's had. He's my favorite player and its just sucked seeing Salas have irregular seasons ....Hopefully Salas can return to our national squad before the World Cup Qualifiers are over.

Some people have even forgotten about him and how important he was in the 2nd half of various games in the last World Cup Qualifying matches. GOOD LUCK TO SALAS!!

that's been said since barcelona went r.i.p in 98....and then the beast aka LDU-Q woke up and spanked every team, put 'em in time out, and made love to them....LDU-Q=Best team under the sun. Fossati's about to wake up our other beast too....Salas coming soon. Pure magic on some Walt Disney type sh*t. You'll see the ball on his feet one minute, the next its in your net.

What can I say? I'm a big Salas fan...he's the only Mago we have. If he wouldn't have gone through those tons of injuries everyone would have a different opinion about him but people forgot about him so quick since he only had success for 2-3 years. And on top of all that he's 100% Liga made.

I remember the media in Ecuador had him as "el mejor futbolista ecuatoriano del momento" back around 03-05.

The opinion I have of him is because of his injuries. Of course we would all think different about him if he hadn't had 3 years of mediocre activity due to his injuries - no one would deny that, but it is what it is. He might have been "El Mejor Futbolista" del momento, but that "momento" is long gone!

That said, I hope to see him come back soon into action. I have always liked the kid.
