Great expression. He still does. To a lesser degree. But still I would like to see a much closer ball control, a la Messi. He often let the ball run from him waaaay to far.
pato isnt going anywhere u cant make a step forward when ur at milan(except financially) and us being a semi-brazilian squad, he wont leave
He's going to want to go to a league where he can be top scorer. A league that Gilardino and Mutu don't inhabit.
It means he is a special talent. One that doesn't come around that often. And while he is at the top of his game we better enjoy. Because crazy things can happen in football. He could get injured hampering his career(e.g. Ronaldo), he could lose motivation/form(e.g. Ronaldinho) or he could be sold for a record fee to Real, Man City, ManU, Chelsea, etc. You don't know what will happen in the future. Just enjoy him while he's here. He has the potential to be the best player to ever play for Milan. And that is saying alot since we've had arguably the greatest collection of talent in the world wear the red and black during the past 50-60 years.

as long as milan makes the champions league and pato continues todisplay progress then that is the best i can hope for...then wait for thiago silva to become eligible and hopefully a nice summer transfer window. this season is gone of course...but oh well, gotta take the bad with the good i guess
Pato's form when heading should be taken as an example by some of the most renowned headers of the ball in the world. He is not the tallest of strikers -- although he's not small at 1,80m --, and he's not the strongest, but the way he leaps with his body sideways, eyes wide open, and directs the ball with a head movement directly to where he intends it to go is one of the best heading forms in the game, in my opinion. Heading accuracy is hard, I know from experience, I couldn't head a ball for shit, and the way he does it, with perfect timing, is really impressive. Pato isn't know for his headers, but I think they're one of his best qualities. Just take a look at some of the headed goals he scored: the first one for Milan from a Cafu cross, the one from a Gourcuff cross and specially that diving header against Lazio from a Jankulovski cross. I doubt Adriano would pull any of those with the same class.
Adriano couldnt hit the broad side of a barn if he was a meter away. No point comparing him to pato, kulspruta. He was awful in the derby, any other striker and it would have been a hat-trick. Of course i guess i should thank him for that. Wasnt any good against Man-united either.

i told my friend who is a juventus fan the same exact thing lol hey it could happen. if he continues to grow this season and hits 20 + goals in serie a and another 10 in the champions league (like kaka did) then he could lead us to the champions league finals
world cup years are almost always given out on the basis of winning the world cup or performing really well at the world cup. (zidane 98, ronaldo 02, cannavaro 06), so if he has an excellent world cup and brazil wins it (both good possibilities), then yeah he's got a chance. i think 2011 is the year, still needs another year of growth and for the hype to build...
it's exciting that this is even speakable. i know a lot of us said it after the derby, but watching pato continue to grow is THE reason i'm still excited to get up and watch milan on sundays.
i agree with all of you. Pato is an amazing talent and will be one of the best in the next couple of years..not to mention he, unlike other young talents out there, has a very good head on his shoulders and really cares about milan.. hes always positive and like most of us im really excited for the future..
I just don't understand how come nobody is talking about this football genius. Beckham is apparently in man-love with the boy since he first saw him play in the match against Udinese. However the papers in Italy say little about Pato, and abroad everyone is creaming theirselves over Walcott and Aguero who are good but they are both older than Pato and have arguably shown less prowess than him with considerably less pressure on their shoulders. Walcott grew up in the UK, Aguero's been in Spain for a few years now. Pato's been playing in Italy for little over a year, and being the saviour of AC Milan isn't like playing for Atletico, no offence.
i know i completely agree and its funny you say that about beckham cause its so true and i find it funny haha. its alright though, hes still young so we wont have to hear the real madrid rumors for another... month or so? and i agree with jpick that 2011 could be a little more realistic...but ya never know since he is growing just so fast. 2010 probably is a stretch though
