Pachuca's crossing sucked today, I didn't see a single good one. I guess it's all up to Chivas since San Luis doesn't have a very good team.

    Dale Leon!

mas que una pasion un sentimiento no buscamos copas porque campeones hay por montones pero hinchada solo una y es la del leon la fiel la que va a todas con el club hoy bullita me has hecho sentirme orgulloso de ser azul

was a great game indeed very intense we managed to calm down after the first half and that freekick came as a miracle to us we beat all statistics we celebrated in their home their stadium high above the sea level, with 10 players and 1 goal against in moments of crisis and yet we still passed, once again i'm proud of being part of los de abajo! great game..

Funny how when a Mexican team wins the ref was good, when a Mexican team loses the ref was terrible.

^^ Thats how it is in every country.

I agree completely. You are correct. The problem is that brasilians and argentinians are too used to win and the few times that they lose they become crybabies and start blaming anything but giving credit to the rival

I don't know about that. I agree that altitude should not be an excuse, and players are proffesional athletes who should put huevos and give 100 percent to win.

But, having been in the altitude in Cuzco, I think it has to make a difference in the game, no matter how prepared you are physically. I was in pretty good shape, and after walking a little I could barely breath. I can't imagine what would happen if I had to play a game of futbol.

Altitude has to be a factor, but of course it's not a reason for players to become crybabies and play the blame game.

^^^Agree completely. I mean to say it doesnt effect you is a lie, altitude does, but it isnt going to give a game winning edge, especially if your an athlete.

I have lived here in the US for most of my life, but often going back to bolivia (LA PAZ) for family. I in the times i went back would always catch pickup games to just have fun when i was younger. I would play with random kids, and i would get a little more tired than i was used to, but not enough where it would count me out. I think this would be the same with the pro's.

Its no excuse, although it does effect you.

El Nacional made a good comeback, Nacional just not even trying anymore thinking their qualified already.

They better wake up or the biggest miracle in futbol history could bite them in the ass lol

I wish all refs could take notes from this ref he was class, for if this game was against a team like Boca I am sure Pachuca would have gotten a red card for nothing and yellow cards just for looking at the ref wrong. I am just replying to your comment about my post

It's clear that after the 3-0 the paraguayan Nacional calmed down and but they let them score 3 goals. Wasn't expecting such a difference between these two, looking up to Nacional on the groups stage.

Estudiantes could manage to win over Cristal, but as expected the match was no cakewalk, better luck for Cristal next time.

I guess U was kind of lucky on the first half they made a lot of kiddy mistakes, Pachuca looked dominant on the first half, but in the second half they handled the match well.

Cuenca made a good comeback, i wasn't expecting that after the first match.

So far i think most of the matches(I missed a couple of the second leg) were very entertaining hopefully they can keep it that way for coming rounds.
