Eduardo slightly offside from a through ball...quality finish, however (before anyone knew there was offside)

Wilshere with a gorgeous, stunning, incisive, outside-of-the-boot through ball to Rui Fonte, who couldnt control when 1-v-1 with keeper.

wow lucky ass defense by arsenal.. I have no idea how we kept that ball out. We look weak on defensive CK's.

ended 2-2... Stoke had a ball that went right across the goal line, but never went over in extra time... the guy crashing the rebound kicked it side netting

Its over 2-2 maybe Daprince can put up a clip of JW's second... Good news Eduardo made a full 90 min and JW is a pimp really looking strong... when Fab leaves and he will eventually Wilshere will step in hardily.. I truly am happy with his precense in the midfield

from reading through the thread I can tell Wilshere played well, but what about guys like Bischoff? Eduardo? and Nordtveit?

    wilshere's 1st goal =

sounds like he had a fantastic game.

from arsenal.com match report, it seemed eduardo had a lot of good chances that forced some good saves. i am glad to see he get a full 90. can anyone who watched the game expand more on eduardo and bischoff?

Randall had a shocking match today... Bartley and Nortveit were not too hot themselves... altho Nortveit made a great challenge to save a goal in the last 10 minutes... both goals were off high balls into the box which were defensed poorly...

Merida had a great game I feel... Bischoff was ok, got better when Jack moved central... we didnt attack much on the right for Lansbury because Coquelin and him did not link up... Coquelin was pretty good but got injured in the 2nd half...

Jay Emmanuel Thomas has great feet, he came in in the last 5 mins...

Eduardo is still rusty, but looked ok when he got the touches...

I can't say much about reserves, but I never liked his CC performances.

he is very understated... started a lot of our attacks during the CC and in the reserve matches Ive seen... outshined Ramsey by a lot in the Pompey match, and was very good against Sheff (pretty good against Wigan, altho I believe he had a virus before the match)

usually is a good tackler too... he just needs to be a bit stronger I feel, but he has a lot of talent...

today he was terrible tho, but you can see why Wenger rates him so high...

he may not be... but I have grown to like his game a lot... I never understood why Wenger rated him until I saw him play CM this season...

I thought Randall was average at best in the time he saw for the first team. Certainly doesn't look Arsenal class. Give it away too easy, tries way too many stupid things, didn't have the nuance of the rest of the kids.
