I think so too. But if we're gonna lose I'd rather it wasn't against LeBron James. I've pretty much had enough of him and he's only 24. The next decade is going to be a friggin nightmare for everyone who isn't a fan of this guy. That gay shit with the chalk he does before games just makes me want to puke. What a goddamn clown.
He's a singular talent, and the prospect of seeing him go up against Kobe Bryant for seven games in a finals makes me borderline giddy.
a better market in NY than cleveland and he'll make more $$. he loves NY and is a fan most NY sports teams. he owns a house in NY. I'll mention the Jay-Z connection but I doubt that has anything to do with his decision. and if he doesn't go to the brooklyn nets(they may not move to brooklyn), I can still see him ending up in NY as a knick because of how much he loves to play in Garden. he's a god in cleveland but if he came to NY he would run NY.
.great game between the lakers and the spurs... .my heat won even though wade had a bad game...about time beasley played good
Beasley just needs PT and he will blossom. His offensive game is mature beyond his years. Complete socrer but we already knew that. How about my boy Cook out of Dayton. Knockin down treys like nothing.
.yeah cook played good... .yup we just need to give beasley more playing time but we need a big guy and we should be complete with marion, wade, beasley, and mario
This whole market thing is irrelevant. LeBron wants to rule the world, not a city in US of A. What he needs is to be on TV winning championships. That's never gonna happen with the Nets or Knicks.
how is the whole market thing irrelevant? you think he's going to play for okla city? Lebron knows business. he knows if he ends up in one of the big markets in NY, LA(never happen) Boston(never happen) or Chicago he can double his money. And who said Lebron wants to rule the world? If he wants to be known around the world than he needs to play for one of the big teams. He'll make any team into a contender in there division. And how do you know the knicks won't grab him and Amare come 2010? or the nets grabbing him and Bosh? money is being cut off both payrolls for that reason alone. Both Rod Thorn and Donnie Walsh want to splash out some $$ come 2010 and want 2 big names like Boston got 2 years ago in KG and Ray Allen. Where do you think he'll end up?
I think he will stay in Cleveland or be signed and traded to the Lakers. The market thing is irrelevant because LeBron is making about as much money as one can make. Going to New York and struggle to make the Playoffs isn't going to give him bigger endorsement deals. He's not really more marketable as a Knick as opposed to a Cav unless they're winning. Remember Boston gave up a pretty damn good young player to get KG. The two situations can't be compared. Knicks have nothing to trade to Cleveland that they'd be interested in.
I can't imagine LeBron going to the Lakers. There isn't enough room in LA for the two greatest basketball players in the world...
Could you imagine that? Say Lakers gave up Gasol, Ariza/Walton and Farmar/Vujacic in a sign and trade. Cavs would take that over losing James for nothing. Fisher, Kobe, LeBron, Odom, Bynum. They'd go 80-2.
Don't be silly Plus, If LeBron ever wants to reach MJ territory, he has to be the main star on his team. Also, Kobe is already trying to prove he can get a ring without Shaq...
That's a long ways away from 6 (two three-peats). Any rings he gets with LA would be 'tainted' (see: Shaq-Kobe). MJ won all his rings with one team
Not sure I understand. Are you talking about LeBron or Kobe? If Kobe gets two more rings and 3-4 with LeBron I'd say he's pretty happy. If LeBron gets 3-4 with Kobe and 3-4 with Lakers after he's gone, I'd say he's happy too. It's a win win for both of them. No one can win alone anyway. If Wilt couldn't no one can.
